   I’ve been using Barnets for more years than I care to remember and have always experienced great service and a great haircut. I used to bring my 2 sons here when they were young and they have continued to use Barnets; they’re now in their thirties! I usually have John cut my hair but I think I’ve probably had a haircut from all of the guys over the years. John, Colin and Jason have been there as long as I’ve been a customer, but more recently Tom and Jack have arrived, positively adding to the team and bringing with them new ideas and a fresh approach to men’s hairdressing. I can thoroughly recommend Barnets and will continue to use them ……..as long as I have hair to cut that is!

   I’m really disappointed with my recent experience. I’m not someone who usually complains about haircuts, but this one was a significant mistake. I was growing out a modern mullet, and despite explaining what I wanted and showing a picture, there was a clear misunderstanding. I left the barber shop with my hair much shorter than I requested, and the shaping was done incorrectly, so I can’t style it the way I intended. Although I was given a refund, I now have to spend months growing my hair back to where it was. This is especially frustrating because my first visit here turned out great, but the second time completely set me back to square one. I’m really displeased with the outcome. The first photo is a reference of when I visited the first time (hair is full and able to be styled) and the second photo is the second time I visited and it went totally wrong.
