I have been looking for a good barber for almost a year in Brighton and no one came close to the expertise or quality of the haircut I received today. Hossein had been professional, friendly & just excellent man all around. He pays attention to the examples you give and does not use 'template' haircuts like many other barbers. If you want a haircut that will grow out nicely, look exactly how you want it to then go to this salon!
I went to Cutter & Grinder for a wet shave, and whilst I am no expert it was by far the best I have ever had. Hossein made me feel extremely comfortable and talked me through each process making sure I was comfortable the entire time. Would highly recommend.
Genuinely the best haircut I’ve ever had. Hossein really has a lot of experience - I know more about my hair than I ever did! Great conversation too and very reasonable pricing. Now my regular barbers!
I've been searching around Brighton for a new barber since my last barber left the area after cutting my hair for 10 years. After lots of rubbish and expensive trials, I found Cutter and Grinder on Booksy. Hossein hands done gives the best haircut I've ever had, the shop is relaxed and well presented, and the conversation flows easily. My new favorite place to go for a haircut.
Easily the best haircut I’ve had. Been going to Hussain for about 8 years now. Has never faltered in quality. Hugely attuned to what looks good on you but will cut as well as could be achieved if you have very specific requests. Will go there for as long as I live within reach, and I’m currently London so come down especially. Top class
My usual place was fully booked and I had a holiday coming up… premium trim at a (by current standards) fairly reasonable price (£25, though this depends on who cuts your hair) There was also a nice dog that I think lives there.
Hussein and team did a great job - the wet shave was the smoothest I’ve had in a long time (also had a moustache trim and head shave). Very professional and personable. Great shop / location in the Lanes. Would definitely return and recommend.
Top quality hair cut. Since coming to see Hossein at Cutter and Grinder he has completely fixed my look and I'm much more content with my hairstyle. It's a beautiful building with a relaxed atmosphere and the guys are always up for a laugh. Would recommend
