Got my first mullet cut today and couldn’t be happier! The barber nailed the look—clean fade, great shape, and exactly the style I wanted. Super chill vibe in the shop, friendly crew, and attention to detail was on point. Definitely coming back!
This isn't review of all the barbers, but just the one who did my haircut yesterday. It could not have been more rushed, like he couldn't wait to get back on his phone in the arm chair. To his credit, he did correct a few things after I came back 15 minutes later but im still not very impressed. Even after "corrections", I did not leave thinking I got a good haircut. It's a pity, next time give your full attention and have some pride in your work.
been coming here on and off since 2014, never had to wait long. All very welcoming and friendly staff. I can never remember his name but the dude always gets my hair exactly how the dr ordered and really great value too. Also a good window for people watching. I hope this review convinces you to give them a try
Had a variety of different haircuts with these guys from long hair trims to very short, they are very skilled barber. It is a friendly and fun atmosphere. I won't be going anywhere else and would recommend to everyone if you want a top cut!
Usually an excellent barber and I’ve been going here since I moved to Brighton just over 2 years ago. But today I came in and explained I’d been growing my hair out from July and it just needed a tidy up. He absolutely butchered the top of my hair and now it’s shorter than when I started growing it out 5 months ago. When he asked if I liked the look or if I wanted to go shorter, I said “definitely not off the top. But maybe the sides to even it out” as I didn’t have much to work with after he’d removed all the length from my hair. I asked for a mullet and explained that I like the hair messy at the front. Now I can’t mess it up at all as it’s way too short. I have lost so much confidence in myself with the fact my hair is so short, and to be honest lost all confidence in this barbers. It will take months for me to get my hair back to how i like it, and I how I asked for it in the first place. I’d been avoiding the barbers for months due to the cost of living crisis and thought finally i would treat myself. Biggest regret.

Got my hair cut here yesterday while we visited my girlfriends sister. I have got my haircut in London for the last couple of years, getting overpriced and moody ultra hipster services. This was a breathe of fresh air, super friendly people and a nice vibe. Prices were very reasonable. Would recommend to anyone wanting to get a trim while visiting
Excellent haircut from Aaron. Friendly, approachable and more than happy to chat about cutting hair with a fellow barber. Offered spot-on advice about the haircut. Highly recommended. If you’re in the North Laine and need a fresh trim then you won’t do better than the guys here.
