Without a doubt the best barber and best value in Brighton. I walk past about 6-7 other Barbers to get here and it's worth it. Luca and both Matt's are friendly, give good advice and - most importantly - are master's of their craft. Catch 22 is a gem of a find in a city full of over priced and rubbish hair cuts.
Since moving towards Brighton Catch 22 is by far the best barbers I have been to. Super chill atmosphere, good music, good conversations and even better haircuts. Would recommend to anyone but make sure to book!
Had a haircut with Matthew, he was really friendly and chatty. Gave good advice on my hair type and gave a variety of options for me to choose. Really happy with the results, will definitely be coming back!
Was welcomed by some really warm and amazing people and a very playful Dog! The haircut was just as awesome as them followed by the best cleanup I’ve ever had in my life (so far). And I absolutely love the haircut!

I've never been happier that a single shop has combined so much talent. Luca managed to steal my custom from another barber shop by giving me the greatest haircut I have ever had - it practically transformed me into a young Tom Selleck. Thinking Luca was alone in his talent, today I got a haircut from Matthew and I practically levitated home. I don't know what's in the air in that shop, but I think it produces hairdressing gods. I haven't had a haircut from the third chap there yet, but my mind can only wonder to what powers I will gain when I finally do. Great chat, even better haircuts - perfect business. I understand that this shop opened quite recently, so I thoroughly recommend stopping by for a trim in the convenient location, though do beware that it will ruin every other barbershop for you forever. 10/10
3 of the top guys from Cutter & Grinder have started up by themselves in a much more relaxed and friendly setting. Great stuff, can’t recommend enough - easily the best haircut in Brighton you’ll find.
Mat’s been cutting my hair since 2016 and he’s easily the best barber in Brighton. The new shop is a very welcoming and comfortable space and the rest of the guys working there are also really nice (and I’m sure are great barbers too!). If you’re looking for a reliable, professional cut with some decent conversation you need to get down to Catch 22. You won’t be disappointed.
Very highly recommend this place. Mat has cut my hair for years now and always gives me a great cut + he’s just a great guy. Always friendly, welcoming and highly skilled, ensuring you leave with exactly what you want. Nothing but good vibes here. I may have to start turning up 15 minutes early to play on the arcade machine now too
