Kosh is a true gentleman. He made me feel so welcomed in his shop. I had my nose waxed for the first time, it didn’t hurt! Amazing service and care from Kosh.

I'm not usually the type to leave a review unless something has bothered me, and in this instance it had. firstly the guy who cut my hair was weirdly stand-offish and rude when trying to explain to him what cut I wanted. He also then proceeded to be scissor happy and ended up cutting my fringe in such a way that it looked like I had A RECEDING HAIRLINE!, 3 weeks later and it's just starting to match up with my fringe. bearing in mind I'm 23 and I have a full head of hair. anyway, I needed to get that of my chest (which has more hair than the sides of my fringe do)

popped here when I moved house's and my old barbers was to far for a quick lunchtime cut. Really great quality and has become my local. Friendly staff and cuts my hair how I like it so 5 stars for me.

Usually friendly guys, however, the last visit was disappointing as the gent who cut my boyfriend's hair was terribly rude when my boyfriend asked if he could cut a bit more off, despite the fact my other half had told him he wasn't sure what length he wanted and may need it shorter as soon as he sat in the chair. The guy even had the nerve to say "tell me at the beginning of the cut next time" - apparently, customers aren't allowed to be happy with their trim. As a result of this, he then refused to give him student discount because he effectively had to trim a bit more off once he was done - bit rude considering he'd initially told him he wasn't sure what length he was going for, don't know if the guy was having a bad day or whatever but that shouldn't affect your work and every customer counts IMO. Not everyone that walks in is going to know what they want from the onset, part of the trade is being able to advise and adapt to the customers needs, shame really.

1st time there today. Didn't catch the guy who cut my hair but he was very professional and polite. Hair cut is top notch. If I'm in the area again will be back. Highly recommend 6/1/17

Do not go to any other Barbers in Brighton! Adapt is in a great central location and offers a swift professional service. The shop is bright, clean and modern - They even have Fifa for the uncommon chance you have a short wait. All of the staff follow direction and the results are always perfect. Leon, Ross and Kuba all deliver the service you would expect from Brighton's no. 1 Barbers.

I used to really like this shop. It's a nice, clean, stylish store. But the last few times I've been in there, I have been really disappointed. After a couple of disappointments I changed barbers. Yesterday under pressure, I went back in because my new guy wasn't free and I got exactly what I didn't want. I tried to explain what I wanted to the guy but he just can't seem to listen. Has an attitude if you query what he means when he's describing what he's about to do. Like I should just understand barber terms. He even made fun of my last cut and commented how bad it was - despite that being what I wanted and what I think suits me - I just hadn't been for a cut in a month so of course it will look a bit wrong. I just made up some story to get through a very embarrassing situation. I should have known better. That was definitely my last visit.
