Had a car in limp mode and as the garage was the closest to home, popped in for a quote on a diagnostic. The owner was happy for me to drop the car down and complete a free diagnostic which I took advantage of. Fault was quickly diagnosed and cost was quoted over the phone and accepted. Was told that the repair would be completed by next day but due to sourcing parts wasn't completed for another 5 days which wasn't ideal but understandable. Had a call to let me know the repair was complete, picked the car up the next morning and after a quick test drive with the owner, paid and left happy. Car is back on the road and would be happy to use the garage again.

Booked my car in for a clutch, owner of the business booked me in for last Wednesday morning and said it would be about 6 hours work and it'll be ready Wednesday evening or Thursday morning, drove past the garage as I live nearby and car was parked exactly the same place as I left it so called in for an explanation, he said he couldn't get it on the ramp, same thing happened on my way home Thursday evening car was still parked there, by this time I've had enough as I need my car for my business. Thursday evening turned out to be on the ramp Friday morning, he promised to ring me and let me know what's happening. He didn't. So again I went in and started to get really annoyed. He rushed my car through Friday afternoon and had it back Friday night at 8pm!!!!? Cost...... He said give me £650 cash to save on the vat so I drew money out and somehow my bill was over £680 so I questioned it also they wouldn't except cash for the job it had to be on a card. Got my car eventually and noticed two wheel trims missing, and was told by the owner they weren't on the car when brought in, again another lie then told me he would look for them and get back to me. Roll on another few days and still waiting for a phone call. Loss in my business was over £250 with the job going on for two extra days and I have no way of getting that back either. Moral of my story is to stay well away!!!!!

Was told at the start of 2021 that works needed doing 18 months later job isn't complete and now engine isn't working. And been informed that the manager isn't even a mechanic so doesn't know how to fix my motorhome. Complete shambles since the takeover I'd be very careful to trust these so called macanics. Very disappointed and out of pocket. Trading standards will be involved
