When recovering my father’s vehicle the driver operator was verbally aggressive and engaged in threatening behaviour towards my father, who is disabled. Due to his vulnerability, I accompanied him to the door and was personally present throughout the exchange. I witnessed the operator’s intimidating and hostile manner, which caused my father considerable distress. I contacted the company to report the operator’s behaviour. I was informed that they had reviewed dash camera footage from the recovery vehicle. However, the conversation in question took place approximately 30 feet away from the recovery vehicle, well beyond the range of any dash cam microphone. Therefore, it is not possible for that recording to accurately capture the verbal exchange, tone, or conduct of the operator. When I pointed this out the company then said they could tell by the operators voice on the phone all he was upset and fearful. I asked what evidence was being relied upon and to ask why my complaint had not been properly investigated, the representative I spoke with was very aggressive in her tone and refused to provide clear information about how I could submit a formal complaint. This dismissive and unhelpful response compounded my concern that the matter was not being taken seriously or handled fairly. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

Probably the worst garage in Wales - absolutely shocking prices and service! When my van broke down and was collected by Civic I made the disastrous decision to let them repair it at their garage. 6 weeks later it was still not repaired and it was obvious that the job was way above their capability. I was continually given pathetic excuses by Rob, the chief mechanic, who kept complaining how complex the job was and trying to blame me for driving through water and damaging the ECU! They replaced the fuse box at a cost of nearly £600 and didn't even bother to put the cover on properly so there was damp in the fuse box when I regained my vehicle! Rob was not truthful when he claimed he had booked my van into the Citroen dealer for a diagnostic as Citroen denied this. Sexist attitudes and a total lack of communication! I received my van back in a disgusting state! Wet inside where they had left the windows open, damaged property and completely dismantled in the cab with wires hanging everywhere and plastic parts and pipes on the passenger seat. Thank God I found a true mechanic who diagnosed, sourced the part and repaired my van in 10 days for £450. (And the ECU was not water damaged!!) I will be reporting these muppets to Trading Standards and considering further action.

Was referred to this business by the warranty provider of cover for my car. I advised the garage that my cheap OBDII tool saw a NOx sensor issue. Car went in for diagnostics and I was told that this error was NOT present, but there were a couple of unrecognised errors that would need a main dealer to look at. So I had to pay for the daiagnostics as no warranty work was seen as needed by this garage. Today a local garage has looked at the car and much to my surprise the NOx sensor error code was there! Now I can get it fixed. I would not use Civic Motors! I don't know how they can explain the fact that they did not detect the issue, dreadful service but, hey they made £42.50 for less than 5 minutes diagnostics.

Had a blowout in Port Talbot contacted the RAC and had Alex from civic was sent out to us but there wasn’t room for passengers. There was a huge palava with taxi’s due to RAC and it had gone past Alex’s finish time but huge thanks to him for staying sorting it for us and even offering to get one of us tj a shop for food/drink supplies for my young children! Credit to the business!

Day two into a week long holiday my dashboard lit up with an endless array of warning lights. After being told by a local garage that nothing was wrong, to ignore the lights, and I didn't need the handbrake, I rang RAC. ALEX form Civic Motoring Services arrived. He was absolutely fantastic and cant praise him enough - personable, knowledgeable and trustworthy, he identified the issue immediately and made a garage recommendation which I used the next day.
