I brought my car to this garage due to a dashboard sensor warning. I was quoted £280 to fix the issue, which I paid without any negotiation. During the repair, another fault was mentioned, and I agreed to pay an additional £100—bringing the total to £380. Despite this, the original problem was never resolved. I had to take a day off work to bring the car back for a second attempt, and even then, the warning light remained. In the end, I had to sell the car with the fault still present. The mechanic later claimed to have done several additional jobs “free of charge,” but much of that work was either unrelated or not clearly explained to me. When I reasonably asked for a partial refund for the unresolved issue, I was met with excuses and threats of being invoiced for extra work I never asked for. Be aware: while the communication may seem helpful at first, you may find yourself paying for incomplete results and then being told you’re actually still in debt for more work. I gave this garage every chance to make things right and was met with avoidance. Very disappointing experience. I would recommend getting a second opinion and everything in writing before committing.
Paul is such an honest and kind man with 10/10 service standards. I had a fiat 500 cluster problem which I was quoted hundreds for in 2 other garages and told it was an extremely complex problem. I took it to Paul, he assured me it was a common problem and had it fixed within a day at an excellent price. I can’t recommend this garage enough, especially as a young girl taking the car to the garage myself, I had complete trust that Paul was transparent throughout the whole process with me and did an amazing job.
Absolutely amazing!! Can’t recommend enough. On my way to work, had a notification saying I had an engine fault. Panicked and luckily found Paul@cartronics! He was so busy and explained he could book me in for tomorrow but I explained what happened and he managed to squeeze me in there and then! Reasonable prices and excellent service. Such a nice guy can’t recommend enough. So grateful thanks again!!!
I called Paul when we took in an aprilia rsv1000 motorcycle that had a dysfunctional set of clocks that would have failed mot as was showing engine lights and not displaying revs or speed properly. We’d been turned away by many but Paul took a look and warned it may not work because of the poor state of the clocks. But was willing to give it a go and we had nothing to lose. He was right.. they were beyond saving but Paul advised to get another set of clocks and offered to code the mileage to match our bike included in the original price which was very generous and excellent service. Paul won’t give up. Your problem is his problem and he genuinely wants to help. Very talented and skilled and would highly recommend.
Well where do I start...Paul is fantastic after getting quoted thousands by a main dealer for a fault that wasn't actually correct,Paul not only diagnosed it in half the time but also fixed it at way less than half the price...he was quick, knowledgeable and efficient he put me at ease the entire time and kept me updated helping me to understand the issue...I seriously am greatful for you squeezing me in when you were obviously busy and for treating me like a human and not an idiot...
After several mechanics Paul was the first one to know what he's talking about. He sorted out my issue with traction control light at a reasonable price and lovely customer service as well. Diolch Paul and see ya around!
Had a fault with my Ford Kuga Electronics Sorted Very quickly even advised me to sort second hand part to keep costs low. All fixed within 2 days such a genuine guy wouldn’t hesitate to use again highly recommend.
