Down a back street like sitting in someone's front lounge. In need of some tlc to be sure. Just had a couple of starters each, should of just carried on walking by. Best part of the night was asking for the bill and leaving.

This was our first time in Buxton and we were at the end of our stay so we decided to have a take away. We chose this takeaway as it had a 50/50 rating so we gave it a try. The collection was easy and relatively quick, the atmosphere was very low for a Saturday evening, there was only 2 couples in the restaurant but seemed ok. The portions were bigger than we usually have, there was more than enough for a family of four. We all ate as much as we could either the large quantities being the negative, but hey.. leftovers!!!!

Friendly service, awful food cooked by a white guy with 15 year experience, maybe add a punch of MSG and use the Wok to burn it a bit Breath of the Wok missing. Very bland. No flavour.

Usually not a big fan of Chinese food but the food was really delicious. Enjoyed every bite. Atmosphere is nice, service friendly and high. Lovely family run place. Highly recommend

One of the best Chinese takeaways we've ever had. We ordered the hot and sour soup, loved the chunky baby corn in it. Quarter of a crispy duck which had loads of meat on it and cooked perfectly. The crispy shredded beef in sweet and chilli sauce with salt and pepper chips which were both delicious. Took this back to our campsite and it was still piping hot. Definitely recommend.

Not my favourite meal out by far. Empty uncomfortable restaurant atmosphere. Poor food quality, raw veg and awful heavily fried items, just generally not an enjoyable dining experience. Would strongly avoid and not recommend.

Was a bit dark inside but the food on the whole was very good, I enjoyed being able to have steamed buns and the beef with honey and red dates which are not standard options. The hoisin sauce looked to have been microwaved, was the first time I've had it served warm, think I cold but the sauce itself was tasty.

A great restaurant, we had a set menu and couldn't finish everything, the portions were generous and the food was good quality. The staff were friendly and attentive, I would recommend stopping here for a great Chinese meal!

Kwei Lin is exactly what you'd expect from a Chinese restaurant. A great selection of dishes, good vegan and vegetarian options and tasty food. The only reason we gave it four stars was because it is exactly what you'd expect. The interiors could do with a bit of sprucing up and the menus could do with replacing too. The staff were really friendly and knowledgeable, they were also very busy when we got there, which is always a good sign! Oh and it's also the only place I've had salt and pepper chips that were saucy. But they were tasty!
