The staff were nice, the girl I was chatting to behind the desk was lovely. But to charge almost £800 for this is outrageous and to pay £25 to have someone just to look at it was stupid. Fantastic service from Sinclair paint and body shop for workmanship and customer relationship.Went over and above to get my work van repaired and to get me mobile again. I found every member of staff very approachable and courteous ie Mark, John Dave from the body shop and Faye from the office who kept me updated throughout the process. After my car being hit whilst parked on the street I used Sinclair thinking that they would do a good job as they are the biggest/most talked about body shop near me. They did not keep me informed on the progress of my car after 2 weeks of having it in their possession so I had to phone myself to find out what was going on. After a month I was getting quite frustrated as there was still no sign of me getting the car back. I went to pick the car up and the repair looked good but when pressure washing my car the lacer had come off the bonnet which was not included in the repair and they refused to take liability and did not fix the damage they had done. They quoted me a discounted price to fix this which I refused to pay as it was their fault. Months have now gone by and still nothing from them (not even an apology) - when I phoned up the receptionist was very abrupt and intimidating. As a young woman this made me uncomfortable and put me off going back there. However, now the wing on my car is rusting (a part of the repair). I sent them photos and they are blaming it on a stone chip. It infuriates me every time I look at the car. They said that the 36months guarantee does not cover this as it’s not a workmanship problem. I am extremely disappointed with this service and it is going to cost me a lot of money to fix again.
They are without doubt one of best, all staff in the office that we met were very good an professional and Gary was ultra professional and such a nice person, a real pleasure to meet and talk to. Both my wife and self said what a great bunch of people.
Not impressed had a wheel refurbed here's and paid top money to have a good job done to keep the vw paint warranty. The face if the wheel is tidy enough but they haven't even lacquered the back of the wheel so much for a factory finish. Now when the road salt sits on there this winter and ruins the finish I be looking to have another refurb. Wish I'd gone somewhere else now could have had it done cheaper and better job.
Very poor repair on rear bumper. Taken in after someone bumped my car.First repair was so poor that I had to return it to be repaired again ,second repair not much of a improvement.Very poor workmanship.Can’t be bothered going back just to much hassle. Would not recommend this company.
I must say, everyone at Sinclair group deserves praise for the handling of my pride and joy. Firstly, Demi on the front desk for contious updates on my vehicle status and a lovely personal way with it too. Secondly, both bodyshop manager and foreman for talking me through the processes regarding the repair of my vintage Mercedes. Last but, not least. All the staff who worked on my car to which I can NOT find a blemish on. Again thank you to all, and I will most certainly be recommending to all my family and friends.
We have used the services here over recent weeks due to an accident resulting in bodywork repairs required for both of our cars. We have also utilised the alloy wheel refurbishment service available here. We have been extremely pleased and satisfied with the excellent services we have recieved in respect of the repairs to the cars bodywork as well as the alloy wheels refurbishment which are of an extremely high standard.
