   My car failed it’s MOT because the front subframe was badly corroded. Penygroes Service Centre quoted.£2,100 for a genuine dealer part, labour to fit the part was initially quoted at £1,700. (This was eventually dropped to.£1,200) apparently it was a two day job. Feeling quite deflated, I turned to eBay. I found a brand-new aftermarket part for £400 delivered. I was not comfortable with paying £1,200 for fitting so I did it myself on my driveway laying on my back it took me nine hours but the whole job has cost me only £400 and not £3800 quoted. This has left quite a sour taste in my mouth won’t be going back there .

   My daughter had her service here and they also found other problems with the vehicle wich they fixed on the day very happy with all the work done and the price was cheaper than quoted excellent service will definitely be using again

   Took my car for a ‘PRE’ MOT here, failed it on reasonable things - which got submitted online even though it wasn’t meant to be. They then put unneeded advisories down, continuing to say that it was going to cost “worst case scenario £600 to be sorted” of which I obviously wasn’t happy paying and i knew for a fact was way over “worst case scenario” as I’ve worked in the car part industry, I was simply being ripped off. Informed them I would be going else where to get the work done, whereby they then decided that one of the apparent “advisories” was “wafer thin and dangerous to drive” even tho they’d stated it was just an advisory. After taking it else where and only paying £225 parts and labour, I took it back to have the ACTUAL MOT where they then stated it “only just passed” just to be awkward. Do not recommend and will not be going there again. Avoid at all costs.

   I was so glad I found them on Google because the other garage near me are horrendous. I first contacted them about a mechanical issue and they asked me to drop the car in via an appointment which wasn't too long a wait. I gave my details and I received confirmation via my phone. I was quite shocked when I picked the car up to be charged £70 for looking at it (Read to the end). But I booked it in to be repaired a week later. The job wasn't a small one and they contacted me to say it was repaired. I went to collect it and THAT'S when I realised why they charged to look at it. The total cost for repair was £150 cheaper than I expected and they did a brilliant job. From beginning to end the customer service was excellent and it was so good to find a garage you feel good going to. I appreciated their service and will definitely be recommending them and won't want to go anywhere else now.

   Caring and efficient service from the gents. I had a black circles order delivered here and Jon and Dean balanced the wheels excellently, cleared the corrosion off my wheel rims and applied thick sealent to ensure that I don't have similar issues in the future. They even re-checked for me a week later. They knew I was time-pressured so performed the work during their lunch hour, which I highly appreciate.
