I took my daughters for a complete restyle with Amy and Candis. These two lovely ladies are not only very skilled at what they do, they put both my daughters at ease and were brilliant all the way through. Absolutely awesome. Would definitely recommend
I rarely change hairdressers as I’m quite anxious person socially. I’ve never felt so welcomed before. All the staff were super friendly. I had candis and she did an amazing job with my hair! Definitely will be coming back again ❤️
I think it took me longer to find the perfect salon than it did finding my husband :D I’ve been visiting Madcaps for a while now after bleaching my own hair for years - and doing a terrible job. The condition was terrible and I thought my days of being blonde were over until I met Sorley. Sorley is a true gentleman, an expert in his craft, welcoming and most of all, patient. I was able share ideas of what I wanted and Sorley has encapsulated that vision, whilst setting realistic expectations and maintaining the integrity of my hair, particularly whilst being pregnant and postpartum. The ladies in the salon are all very welcoming, always offer a friendly conversation, a good coffee and a relaxed atmosphere. Thank you all!
I have been going to Madcaps for a little under a year. Amy has completely transformed my hair and my confidence, she is wonderful to talk to and makes me feel welcome every appointment. I couldn’t recommend enough
I have been in the Port Talbot area for a couple of years and, until I went to Madcaps hadn't found a hairdresser I was happy with. Then I found Hannah and my first visit to Madcaps was fabulous. She listened to what I wanted and did a perfect colour for me, exactly what I asked for! I have just been back for my second appointment and still love the colouring, but found out she is also ugreat at cutting and styling too. It's a shame I will be moving about an hour away in a few months as it will mean a longer drive for my hair do, but I shall be coming back to Hannah as she is worth the commute! When you find a good hairdresser, you stick with them!
DO NOT WAISTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! Awful experience here. Totally incompetent, unprofessional and rude. I had long, brown, vigin hair which I was promised, over and over again, is the best hair for colour. I was sat in that salon 6 and a half hours on the first visit to end up with the complete opposite of what I wanted. Did not listen to what I had asked for. Going back a SECOND time to correct their mistakes, again for another 6 hours, it ended up worse. Blamed everything including my hair for the bleach not working, expect for the horrible method it was applied. ( 3 times!!) The whole thing was rushed and sloppy; application of product, hair cut and styling at the end. I am now left with streaky, patchy and multi coloured yellow/ orange brassy hair that looks ridiculous and hideous. NOT A SINGLE APOLOGY!! I am devastated. If I could rate this lower I would.
First visit and the first after lockdown. very clean and tidy. Knowledgeable and friendly staff who took their time. Patch test were sent in the post a few days earlier saving visits so a really good experience and booked for our 2nd visit
Had my hair cut and coloured with Hannah today and really happy with the result. I talked through what I wanted and the final result was exactly what I wanted. She also put me at ease and I’m looking forward to my next haircut and colour already! Very friendly salon too.
