   Saw 'Nish Man' branding, expected Nish Man quality - had to ask the actual Nish Man shop in Bridgend if they were affiliated because this place is just so bad. First off we got a beard trim where the guy cut a wobbly line into the edge and said "is good?" Nah buddy, is not good. We got him to go over it again properly. We wanted the sideburns to be faded in to the bald top but we inexplicably got a pointed line from the chin to the ear instead? Looked wack as it grew back in. Second time we thought okay maybe the other guy might look up and interact but despite us greeting him we were ignored and that same guy from before took charge. Again we were butchered, and the wobbly line from before just became a wonky chin strap look, with the sideburns just completely removed instead of faded even though we went in with a reference photo for the guy to work from. We wanted a quick pass with a razor to tame the monobrow we had going on and the dude cut off the tops of the eyebrows, angled them DOWNWARDS, and left an angry red cut between them for good measure. We were given a perpetual frown rather than just a bit of spacing like we'd asked. Bear in mind this is £20 a pop for a beard trim and head shave, where each time we've had to fix it at home, or most recently we were so messed up that we took a Gillette to the whole lot and started again from scratch. Don't go to this weird-ass place where they just do their own thing, badly, for a lot of money on you - go to the actual Nish Man down the road in Bridgend instead.

   Avoid if you don't recognise the staff. All I can say is make sure you get the same barber as you are used to. I ended up with someone who seems to be training. He could not grasp the length you want to cut and wants to cut his own hairstyle. Thank god hair grows back.

   Great salon, nothing too much trouble for the boys. Never been fussed over so much. Not just a fly over with the clippers, you feel special.
