Was here on Saturday 19th September for a much needed cut. Rang at the last minute knowing the shop was advertised as closing shortly. Charlie was extremely accommodating and gave me her final slot for the day. She is a very fast & competent barber as well as friendly & knowledgeable. I will go again soon & highly recommend her. 5 stars.
This place is spot on. My Mrs introduced me to Charlie who we surprised when I turned up with a proper mop on. She turned me from Tom Hanks Castaway to Baywatch Efron in no time. Very good service would highly recommend if you need a barnet trim.
This was my first visit to a hairdresser for many years, because previously my hair was cut by a family member. So I was a bit apprehensive, but Charlie made me feel very comfortable and gave me a perfect haircut. And importantly, as I am a pensioner, the price was very fair and reasonable.
I am from Aylesford in Kent, but was on holiday in Caswell Bay. I decided to drop in on Charlie for a haircut and was so pleased I did. It was a fantastic, clipper, blend and trim on top - perfectly symmetrical and exactly what I asked for. Charlie is such a warm, bubbly person and popular with the locals. Thank you Charlie and I will be back next time I am down there.
1. I came in with some apprehension - on is always nervous about going to a new barber. Charlie quickly and easily put me at ease; she spent several minutes asking me about my hair and what I wanted, and offered several options. I think a lot of barbers just ask questions and then cut hair the way they want to; Charlie actually listened to me, which was amazing. The resulting haircut was exactly what I was hoping for! 2. Charlie's shop is in the middle of town. For a newcomer, it is an amazing place to visit - she seems to be connected to everyone in town, and it felt like every two minutes someone she know passed by to say hello, knock on the window, or just wave. Four other customers came in while I was there; she knew everyone by name and asked for specific updates on their lives. If she ends up as mayor, I don't think anyone would be surprised. I was included in conversations, and felt like I really got to see what life is like in the local Mumbles community. Thanks, Charlie!

Charlie cuts my 2 boys hair and always does a wonderful job. She provides a friendly and efficient service and I highly recommend her.
So organized and professional with all the precautions required and still managed to be normal and chatty . I haven't got much hair to cut anyway so she was pleased to see me ha. Well done both and good luck getting through this difficult time. Elvis Legsley x
Started going to Charles barber shop when I first moved down to this area, she is a real diamond in the heart of this community, always has a real warm and genuine welcome for you, also makes you feel very special in her interaction with you. The shop is bright and pleasant, which overlooks Mumbles Road. So you can sit and watch life go by, while waiting for haircut. Please take into consideration that she is on her own working, so if you have a little wait sometimes, then be understanding, she is a real trouper of a person, I personally would not go anywhere else . Although there is no shortage of other barber and hair dresser around.
Been bringing my son here from a small boy. Excellent haircuts by a lovely lady! Very good value for money.
