Fabulous experience, wonderful atmosphere. The volunteers do a great job and every performance I have seen here has been excellent.
I came here for a Kapow wrestling show which had a meet and greet with former WWE star Scotty 2 hotty and his son Keagan. I had never heard of the open air theatre before but I absolutely loved it. It was a great venue for the wrestling and I can imagine it being great to watch all kinds of shows there. It's comfortable, you get a great view no matter where you sit and the staff there are very friendly and really helpful.
Great venue. Saw Dolly Parton tribute and danced and sang the night away. The staff we friendly and welcoming and the blankets we a lovely touch. We will be returning.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Hidden Gem in Brighton! I absolutely love visiting the Brighton Open Air Theatre — it’s one of my favourite places to see live performances. I’ve seen so many wonderful shows here, and each one feels extra special in this unique outdoor setting. The atmosphere is magical, whether you’re watching under the summer sun or wrapped up for an evening show. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, which really adds to the experience. The venue itself is fantastic — well organised, comfortable, and full of charm. It’s a brilliant place for friends, families, or anyone looking to enjoy great theatre in the fresh air. Highly recommend a visit if you haven’t been yet — you’ll want to come back again and again!
We loved Brighton Open Air Theatre. It is the perfect place to have a good time with friends or family. Weather was great on the day and drinks are snacks so reasonably priced. You can also carry your favourite drinks and snacks. I would recommend it to everyone without doubt.
A fabulous venue, with amazing focus on the audience. Brollies to hire, a great bar with snacks. But be better prepared than me - BRING A CUSHION!
The origin story, the location, the shows and staff. I've been singing its praises ever since I visited. It certainly speaks to the great things that can happen when creative people work together. Looking forward to coming back, next time with a picnic

Lovely small amphitheatre with bar and surrounded by trees. Really high standard of productions from local am national companies as well as music and comedy. Even doing panto this covid year!
We saw a Folksy Theatre production of "The Princess and the Giant" here. It was our first time at B.O.A.T. and my daughters and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Such a fun adaptation of a lovely story in a unique setting. We'll definitely revisit the theatre and look out for future Folksy shows. Thanks!
