Walk ins and cash only, Didn’t manage to get anything done as there were already two ladies waiting in front of me and the two technicians were busy with clients. Had to leave as I couldn’t spend my whole afternoon waiting in the shop. Seems bonkers not to offer appointments for nail services. Strong smell of acrylic and banging techno were also adding to the unpleasant atmosphere. Won’t be coming back, but the nails I could see being done did look nice.

I tried this salon as a friend recommended and I thought it may be quieter than going to town. I'd asked for a biab soak off and a new biab application. I'd picked a design based on the nails they had available only to be laughed at when I showed them and told it was for "acrylic only". I asked for something similar but it took 4 members of staff to clarify that and they laughed and made remarks as if I was an idiot. As someone who gets over stimulated and anxious, I told them I was happy with anything they'd do because by this point, I was feeling uncomfortable and had been there over 2 hours. After 2 days, my nails have chipped and snapped but because of the poor experience I had, I don't want to return there to see if they can rectify. Would not recommend. I have taken a photo of the nail I showed them vs what I got and my chipped nails.

I have been coming to fair nails for around 8 years now, and every time I have been very impressed with the friendly service. No request is too much and the staff are happy do all aspects of nail art; they are talented and patient and very hard working!! The best in Swansea and would recommend to everyone!

Would not recommend, my daughter had acrylics done for holidays and they came off within 3days. Messaged the company and sent photos. They told me to bring daughter back in explained we were on holidays and they said no problem bring her in when your back. Took her in today to get them redone after only lasting 3 days and they then told me coz I hadn’t brought her back within 7 days i would need to pay another £20 to have them redone even though I already paid £37 for 3 day nails. Wasn’t happy with customer service or cleanness of the shop, instruments and surfaces should be disinfected in between clients to help prevent spreading nail infections, not one clippers, bur (what the my use to remove acrylics) or scissors etc were wiped or left to disk after each client and no surfaces cleaned either this is basic hygiene. Have previously recommended shop as my daughters have been a few times and always happy but I will not be recommending again after my own experience with this shop.

I got the BEST gel pedicure I've ever received at this lovely, clean, and neat nail salon. The staff were polite and friendly, and my feet and toes have never looked and felt so good! I'd highly recommend this place, and the prices are super reasonable, too!

I used to come here for years and would be very satisfied, but for the past 6 months I have been dissatisfied every time. They are extremely rough when doing your nails, to the point of cutting you until you bleed, they always say sorry but continue to hurt you again. To be fair, the lady is great and very good, but the two men are not; its as if they are rushing to get you done and move onto the next customer. Getting your nails done is supposed to be a relaxing, enjoyable and PAIN FREE experience but unfortunately its the pain, cuts, and bleeding that have made me write this review and is the reason I will not be coming here again :(

I prebooked my appointment over the phone for a manicure and gel polish. When I arrived at the salon I said I was here for my appointment for a manicure and polish. I was asked to wash my hands and take a seat. I was asked if I wanted some of them cut down because some of them were quite long, I said yes. I was admiring the nails of the lady sat next to me and as I went to look back at my own nails I was horrified to see that my nails had been hacked off with the nail clippers and left with rough edges and he had pulled out a box of plastic tips. I immediately stopped him and asked him what he was doing and said this is not what I booked. The woman stood up and shouted at me saying it was my fault and said I should have said what I wantedl! She then argued with me I told her I should have been given what I booked and announced when I arrived what I was there for. You wouldn't take your car in for an mot and they do something else. If they didn't know what I came in for why would you do what you want and try to stick false nails on me! All of a sudden they didn't understand English. The staff were unbelievably rude and my nails are ruined. AVOID AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Preferred the previous owners. I had a £25 pedicure that lasted 30 minutes and it was just painful. I had normal polish (not gel) on my toes when I went in and they removed it with the electric file when nail varnish remover would have done it. My toes were actually bleeding around the nail where the cuticle was PULLED out and my skin was pulled. The exfoliation bar was excruciatingly painful, so hard. The massage chair and the cup of tea was the only bit that was enjoyable. Outcome...I still have dry skin on my feet and my toe nails aren't shaped nicely and I'm £25 down. I chose not to have nails painted as wanted to use my own. Same price painted or not.

I pay £25 in London for a take off, soak the cuticles manicure, and shellac polish. Never would I have dreamed that I would have to pay £30 for a take off, 'manicure', and shellac polish in Skelly, Swansea. Firstly, the take off was with the sandpaper drill - everyone knows this thins your nails and you get a ridge when they grow out. The polish should be soaked long enough to be removed gently with an orange stick, if you're going to do it right. Seconly, I had to ask for the 'manicure' and it cost extra; didn't use cuticle remover and was pretty poor. The shellac polish was fine. This is a dirty little place, there were crisp crumbs on the dilapidated couch in the entrance, and the man I had was rude. Do yourself a favour and go around the corner to the other Beauty bar.
