Time your visit well. I.e., when the kids are at school because outside those time both the park and playground are infested with really scummy kids, mostly from bohunt school. They loiter around stopping little ones from using attractions. Last time we were there some little yobbos were hurling bricks at the fence to the allotments. The kids playing football screaming and swearing at one another. Outside these times it's fine but I would be deeply embarrassed if my kids were to behave like this.

A nice area, and really good that two table tennis tables have been installed here. However, the amount of graffiti on the tables is terrible. Very sad sign of the times that excellent facilities like this are just abused and ruined by people.

My 20 month old likes it here it's not too big and the equipment is more suited for younger children so works well for him. There is a decent size green if you want a picnic or to kick a ball around with the kids I take my son there regularly.

A small green space for dog walks and a terrific play area for kids with an amazing mural. Sadly it was very dirty with broken glass in the play area and the leftovers of a small fire.

An enclosed play area separate from the field itself. It has a limited selection of things to do, but the field area is good for children to run around and play games. Due to its location it is not an easy place for parking, but for locals it is very useful. Crossing point just outside the park makes it very easy for walking access.

This is a brilliant place to take dogs.. 99% of the people clear up the mess after them( just a few idiots that don't) plus I think the gate ought to have a spring on it so it automatically closes. there are a few idiot mums that leave the gate open and can see that there are dogs running around. also I think there are problems at night with the 14 + kids riding their bikes in the children's area
