Door was open, two youths sat on the counter tops who said “we’re closed” but it said the establishment closes at 14:00? It was 12:05 when we tried to get our oatcakes. You’re telling me that with two members of staff there, you were unable to process a small order for us? Very disappointing. No wonder Newcastle is in its dilapidated state.
Definitely the best oatcakes in Staffordshire. I brought a pack of 6 to make for us for a quick dinner and they really fill you up. Bargain at 6 at £1.40. Will definitely go back to try their fillings if I want a late lunch.

Yum beautiful oatcake fantastic tasty filling well priced breakfast.. Great service not the most comfortable place I've been but worth it for the oatcakes yum
Went in for the first time today and will definitely be back. The oatcakes are perfect thickness with a slight bite on the edge. Enough filling for me (bacon and cheese) and not greasy. Well wrapped and stayed warm until I got home 20mins later. I could eat another one. Would be better if it was a more central location on the high street though. I didn't think there was an oatcake shop in Newcastle until I googled it.
I have stumbled across Oatcake Heaven today when searching where to go for lunch whilst at work, i ordered for collection and the food was amazing the staff were very polite and even cracked a few jokes. Quantity and quality for the price couldn't be better. Finally the service from the staff is 10/10! I will definitely be back for more! :D
