   If 0 stars was an option, that’s what I would rate it. Me and my friend went into Dixy Chicken as a last resort; it was the only takeaway open and we were ravenous. It quickly became apparent it was the only place open as they’d have no other way to break even, nobody would go here unless it was the only option open. We had a chicken burger and chips each. We got home, excited to have our burgers. I take a bite. It tastes very peculiar and has a gummy texture. So, I look at the burger. BRIGHT PINK. I was in shock and cut my burger in half to see if it looked like this the whole way through. It was like a gender reveal party, spoiler alert; it would’ve been a girl! My friends burger was even worse when we cut into it. We phoned to request replacements and they refused, claiming it looked like it was cooked over a heated argument because of the spices, even though we didn’t get the spicy option? After this we requested a refund and they hung up on us. I rung back and they came and gave us fresh burgers in exchange for our salmonella infested ones. The driver was arguing it, saying it’s the flour from the chicken coating has permeated the chicken and turned it pink, then when we showed him the middle he apologised profusely and promised it had never happened before as it was so raw. We went back to the kitchen to eat, and surprise surprise these two replacement burgers were just as raw! Only eat from this place if you desire explosive diarrhea and salmonella poisoning, as that is what you’re ordering. So if you want a cheeky day off school you guys know where to dine!!

   Never ordering again! Ordered some food for delivery earlier, the driver was extremely rude. Took him half n hour to get to Clayton yet he had the audacity to say to me hurry up and collect my food. He threw it at me from his car!! Food was cold and messy. Hanley ones way better!!

   Disappointing Experience at Dixy Chicken I was quite disappointed with my recent visit to this branch. The cashier was impolite and continued speaking on the phone while taking my order, which came across as unprofessional and inattentive. The dining area was poorly maintained — tables were dirty, the floor had litter, and the rubbish bins were overflowing. The atmosphere felt uncomfortable, with loud background noise and little effort to create a welcoming environment. Although the food was acceptable when dining in, it was served without much care for presentation, and some items were lukewarm rather than freshly prepared. Service was slow despite there being few customers at the time. Overall, the lack of cleanliness, poor customer service, and absence of attention to detail made the visit unpleasant.

   1/5 - One of the Worst Takeaways I’ve Had Absolutely awful. Chicken was dry, chalky, and clearly reheated, completely lacking any moisture or flavor. Chips were like wood shavings, dry and reheated to hell. Easily in my top 5 worst takeaway meals—won’t be ordering again. Pictures are attached so you know exactly what quality of food you’re getting before you order. Avoid unless you like disappointment.

   Awful service, ordered at 7.11pm food came with missing chips, rang restaurant to be told to wait save the food and they would send fresh waited 2 hours with 2 phone calls between saying food was on the way to eventually be told that it wasn't on the way and nothing had been sent absolutely disgusting.

   Absolutely shocking service. I last ordered from this dixy last year and waited nearly 2 hours for the order. I thought I would give it another try today and 2 hours on I'm still waiting for my delivery I have called 5 time to be told 10 minutes no sorry no nothing and when I call again for the 6th time a man in the background is telling the worker to put the phone down. When the food came the chips were cold and hard and the burger also stone cold and gravy tasted like it had soap in it just shocking so annoyed won't ever order from here again

   Ordered from here tonight paid £27 to get sent cold beans apparently they send beans out cold if they keep them warm for two hours they wouldn’t taste very nice that’s funny as when they first opened I had from there my beans were hot and so was my gravy what I ordered which tasted like pond water also I had two pieces of chicken and chips which cost £5.99 both pieces which were pink inside and a little raw I rang them and told to be told I can’t get refund I would have two more pieces of chicken sent out I replied with no I don’t want anymore it put me of can I have my money back please the fone was put down on me I rang them back they said someone would call me I got a call back they offered me £5.99 for my meal what I ordered I just think they were a bit rude and were coming in with excuse left right and center! What would of happened if I was blind or colourblind and could see the chicken being pink and but straight into it I would of been really poorly
