   If you like buying out of date food this store is great for you! I went in to try and buy milk and found it 3 days out of date and still in the fridge. A really disgusting smell too around the shop like an animal has died. Wouldn’t recommend this store to anyone.

   I just bought a bottle of flavoured water from this shop. As I was drinking it I thought this don’t taste right. Only to look at the date and it was out of date by 3 months . Yuck I can’t believe I paid for it. I don’t live near maesteg so I didn’t pop back . Although I did try to call them but straight to voicemail.

   my daughter wanted sanitary towels so i walked down about 10 minutes in the pouring rain at half past nine, (when i checked the website it states closed at 10)only to see it was closed!!!! very disappointed as i go there quite often, will not be returning. they just lost themselves a valuable customer

   I went to the shop to get milk for my family at half 9!!! I walked down and to my shock it was closed shutters were down my family couldn't eat supper that night wil not being go there again!!!!!

   First time at this shop and already they wanted rip me off money too bad for them I know math. Plus you should pay half pound when withdrawing money not sure its legal. Would warn not to go there unfortunately only shop in area. Shame to owner

   Items are cheap but the female staff behind the counter didn't explain herself clearly and commented on my misunderstanding. I believe it was rude and uncalled for and most definitely not polite retail staff behavior.

   I go here as its my local shop but the Indian that runs it is a total crook you have to pay 50p to use card machine under 5 quid you can't buy lottery tickets on a card he's ripped a few people off with change and he walks around and does all his business before coming to serve customers. Don't get me started on the shambles of a post office that now resides inside the same shop. I go their if I need to buy other than that I got to garth or to a supermarket. Oh and don't get on the shop owners wrong side as his only trick is to litterslly take a photograph of you and I'm not joking
