   Went into store 27/8/25 with our granddaughter who had broken her ankle 12 months earlier, since then she had not worn proper shoes due to her anxiety about her ankle. We had been to many shoe shops throughout Banbury and MK with no success in getting Isla in a pair of shoes. We went in Charles Clinkards and straight away were greeted with shop staff that so clearly wanted to help with the problem we had. Isla was seen by Madelaine no 6553, she talked and explained things to Isla who is only 9 years old. She came out with loads of different pairs of shoe/boots explaining how certain pairs would help support her ankle. Madelaine was so caring and supportive not worrying how much of her time we were taking up. Eventually she got Isla into a pair of boots, she was so excited she wore them straight away. You must be so pleased to have such a caring and helpful assistant working for you. Madelaine certainly gets 10 out of 10 from us, and we will make sure Clinkards is our first port of call next time Isla needs new shoes.    Visited Charles Clinkard Milton Keynes this afternoon and I just want to say a big thank you to Jack. Nothing was too much of an ask for Jack. My daughter has to have special insoles, I found Jack to be very knowledgeable of what shoes would be best fitting for my daughter with the insoles and he was a massive help. My daughter felt very comfortable with Jack from the start, he was brilliant with her. A very successful trip!

   Thank you Charles Clinkard, for your excellent service. The entire staff, especially a young lady, were incredibly helpful in choosing a pair of trainers for my son. The prices are very reasonable, and I highly recommend this shop if you are particular about finding the perfect shoes

   We popped in here after a rather unsuccessful fitting at Clarks. Fitting was fine but as per usual, nothing in stock that my son liked. CC was a breath of fresh air. We were greeted warmly when we came in and Sofia was so friendly and polite. She helped us choose some shoes for our son, and he was over the moon. Everyone in here was lovely, and there is a fab range of shoes to choose from...lots of different brands and styles, and ended up with some smart DM's for him. Much better service than Clarks. Would highly recommend and will be returning.

   Went to get my little girls feet measured for her first pair of shoes now she's started cruising. I could not thank the staff enough - they were so lovely, friendly and caring during our visit. Sadly they didn't have the shoes we wanted in her size but that doesn't take away the amazing service. Would highly recommend to anyone!

   Very disappointing experience. I popped into the store to buy Garbor shoes as I need to wear comfortable shoes. The man serving me (I think it was the manager) acted like he could not be bothered and was absolutely unhelpful. I left with my money in my purse and will be ordering online or going to John Lewis. Absolutely shocking customer service. I will not be going to the store again.
