I recently moved to this surgery and it is 100% the opposite to the surgery I was at before. Friendly reception who goes out of the way to help. I was given a check up quickly and have a date to return. So far this seems like a treasure.

I’m fortunate to have Willow Green as my local surgery they’re ever so efficient running and always have appointments available for that day, the patient flow in the waiting area is swift and everyone is friendly and listens. It is a good atmosphere despite a large area that they cover they can always seem to fit you in.

I have a mixed review of Willow Green Surgery, as I’ve had a range of experiences with the telephone staff through to Dr’s themselves. Generally it’s been positive, however putting personal opinion of personalities and NHS / surgery red tape , I have now had TWO referrals missed / lost / not done, which to me is shocking and disgusting and pretty much sums up the demise of the NHS. Firstly for myself, I had a referral for a (fortunately benign) lump to be removed in 2023 and only when chasing late 2024 (extended time due to pregnancy in between), I found out it hadn’t actually been actioned by Willow Green and the lump is now 2x the size and I’ve had to go through all appt & scans etc again and still on a waiting list. And now most recently for my 10 month old baby, who has intolerances and was supposedly referred to a paediatric dietician at Worthing Hospital following an appt in February at Willow Green, I have found it it was never actioned!! A baby! Who has intolerances and is on a time frame for testing / next steps - disgusting!! So emails, calls, double scans, double appts, double blood tests because of incompetence / administrative laziness is what is bringing the NHS down, not the general public and larger populations etc. Anyway, if you’ve got this far, I hope this gives some insight to the surgery’s background and why I will be raising a formal complaint & switching surgeries (although I’m sure they’re all the same these days) but hey- strike cos you deserve more pay, right!?

I was so nervous about changing GP surgery's as we had a fantastic one where we used to live but I have to say Willow Green have been phenomenal! We use the surgery more than an average person due to our children's complex health conditions and we have been nothing other than incredibly grateful for the phenomenal care that we have recoeved. Thank you so much Willow Green surgery. You are utterly amazing.

Blood pressure very high . Called 111 due to pain in lower legs and BP , they left a message with GP to contact me next day , surprised my Blood Pressure tablets were stopped . BP results - Mon 153/99 and 167/102 Tues 152/93 and 171/93 - wed / 152:93 Still No phone call or appointment re pain or BP. Ridiculous. Husband is coming home , at weekend and taking me to A&E never see a doctor always on phone , up my medication or stop it no compassion no help . Have come very close to doing something silly because of the pain and not knowing what to do , GPS reaction on the phone with me in tears increase your TRAMADOL to 8 a day !!!!!!

I had to see a nurse this afternoon and to say I was nervous is an understatement. Helen was the most lovely person I could've wished for, she let me talk and properly listened, she gave me excellent advice and was unbelievably reassuring. This review is based solely on this one appointment as I have not been to the surgery before, but I believe in writing something positive if it is truly deserved.
