Great hotel for a long weekend away. Staff are amazing and really friendly. Breakfast was great, everything from a fruit smoothie to a full English. A***
Really nice hotel. Upgraded my room to a double. Great breakfast! But a lot of stairs to get to my room, not a problem for me but might be for some.
Top breakfast. Good room. Good location. Only slight drawback was the bed being two singles pushed together.
Very good hotel friendly and helpful staff. Although the room was little it had great feature and decor. Also room was perfect for my use. Staff were also able to assist with providing snack breakfast to assist in my ability to attend the marathon and they were very accommodating upong our checkout. Cute hotel.
What a disappointment. Scruffy reception areas - once stylish but definitely seen better days. I booked the single room, which is minuscule. You can lie in bed & open the bathroom door. The bathroom is tired with a hole in the door & gaffer tape in the shower cubicle. The wallpaper is dirty & peeling. The window sill is thick with dust. The room looks out onto a brick wall & has constant street noise. Likewise there is noise from the corridor & neighbours. I'd have been underwhelmed at £40 a night. At £75 I feel ripped off.
Wonderful experience: very welcoming friendly staff who obviously love Brighton and their jobs! Legendary breakfast in a lovely breakfast room. Looking forward to returning. Tip: we parked our car for free on the edge of town and bussed in: no worries about parking!
