We performed one of ThirdSpace Theatre's end of term shows at the Lantern Theatre, and they were so welcoming and helpful. It's a really great space with super friendly staff. Very affordable and well equipped. Will definitely continue to use their services!
I brought a show to The Lantern in June 2025. Lovely, intimate space, good atmosphere, perfect for small/solo shows and everyone was very welcoming, friendly and helpful.
I love the Lantern! Everyone there is so friendly and helpful - and they make a cracking coffee! Whether I'm performing there, seeing a show or just popping in for a cuppa I know I'll get a warm welcome.
Great atmosphere. Went to see, Slippjng through my fingers as part of Brighton fringe. Was a very moving and relatable play. Incredible cast and very moving.
I went to see Romiet at the Lantern Theatre and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff I met were amazing and full of life. It was a busy place and drinks were reasonably priced. The play took place in an upstairs room and was quite compact. The floor is the stage so be prepared for interaction. I totally enjoyed Romiet and it was an amazing show with just 2 actors. The short play just went so quickly and I was laughing throughout. A brilliant performance and one that I would highly recommend.
Lovely friendly theatre with great people running it. Also puts on some terrific shows. Recently saw Damien which was a total piece of brilliance. If you haven't discovered the Lantern do so!
Lovely place , easy to find , location central friendly, interesting plays and readings, performed with professionalism and enthusiasm. Reasonable prices to get in ( depending what's on) cheap bar. We'll worth a visit.
I saw an excellent musical comedy here, 'Lord God' - I would highly recommend it. Fantastic performances by a very hard working cast. The theatre is fairly simple, but has all you need and staff are friendly and helpful.
A quirky place to perform, and good value if you're hiring the space! The theatre can be set up many different ways, and all the staff there are friendly and helpful.
