Great venue, the volunteers who run the place are extraordinarily kind and welcoming. Drinks are great value and the theatre performances are top notch.

Acting class unwelcoming. I went to an acting class this week. I was made to feel like an outsider. Most of the participants already knew each other. A guy sitting next to me, one of the organisers, I think, was engrossed in his phone and didn't say hi or make any attempt at conversation. The class was late starting. So my feeling of isolation had time to grow. I stuck it out for a while then decided to leave.
Another fabulous production. Brilliant team of volunteers create a 5* experience. ❤️ this place

The New Venture Theatre is a lovely, small, intimate venue. Saw a great cast performing the York Realist.
Fantastic small theatre which has a great selection of plays considering the size of the stage area. Also has a great bar with lots of character.
