Review: The Hawthβs "Disability Tax" on Families is Disgraceful Rating: β ββββ If you are a parent of a disabled child, be warned: The Hawth Crawley does not believe your childβs accessibility needs are valid. They operate a cold, discriminatory policy that refuses Essential Companion/Carer tickets to anyone under the age of 16. Their excuse? That "all children need an adult anyway." This is a fundamental and insulting misunderstanding of the Equality Act. There is a vast difference between "supervising" a non-disabled child and "caring" for a child with complex needs, mobility issues, or severe sensory processing disorders. By refusing a carer ticket, The Hawth is essentially charging families double for the "privilege" of accessing their venue with the support the child legally requires. It is a "disability tax," plain and simple. While other venues recognize that a parent acting as an essential carer is providing support far beyond "standard parenting," The Hawth hides behind bureaucratic small print to squeeze extra money out of families who already face enough barriers. The lack of empathy from management is staggering. They are happy to take your money for a "family" show, but they refuse to provide the basic adjustments that would make that show accessible. It is exclusionary, greedy, and shows a total lack of respect for the disabled community in Crawley. Shame on you, Parkwood Theatres. Your "Access Scheme" is a hollow PR exercise if it excludes the most vulnerable children in our community.

Best panto around !! My favourite theatre! Every seat has a great view, the sound is awesome. I've been to a few different shows now and have loved every one!

Good amount of parking, easy to drop people off as well. The placement and access to the toilets is slightly odd and difficult to get to during the interval though depending on where you sit. Staff are nice and helpful. All round decent venue

We saw Burlesque Friday at the Hawth, and it was the absolute best money I have spent in years. It was funny, raunchy and hilarious. If you get the chance you have to see it. And I have to say the venue is great and the seating is spacious. Quite unusual in my experience.

Attended for the Buble vs Sinatra, and what a great show to kick off the festive season! The audience was of an older generation but both singers had great stage presence, got people dancing and the band were phenomenal. The singers did a meet and greet at the end. Really good value for money! Plenty of parking, disabled access, the toilets were clean. The bar was fairly priced and staff friendly.

Three of us went to see a tribute band there (UK Pink Floyd Experience). Seemed to be plenty of parking and the place was well staffed. There was a merchandise kiosk, a bar and the loos were clean. The seats were not the most comfortable and leg room was at a premium. Had to stretch our legs during the interval to get the blood circulating again. The band was brilliant!
