The store is having a refit and the staff are coping amazingly well. Some customers are quite rude and it's not the staff fault. The new refit is taking shape and will be a great benefit to all. The shoppers of Beccles should think themselves lucky. The surrounding towns can't even get a Tesco Express!
Beccles Tescos is a Total disgraces , not only is it mayhem inside the store , but now they taken away one of cash machines from outside away and stopped cash back at the till, waiting in a long queue at the machine in the rain is not nice. So I went into customer service ( who wasn’t doing and thing ) I asked if I could get some cash back there, and she said she could only give cash Back if the machine is broken. Absolutely ridiculous . I was in a hurry and not impressed to know she could give cash back but chose not to , ridiculous. I won’t be going to Beccles Tesco again shame on Tescos.
I would like to thank two of the first aiders from this store for their help and support this week. We were visiting Beccles whilst on holiday and my sister became unwell in the town centre. An ambulance was called and I asked where a defibrillator could be found. Edward was on leave but went straight away to fetch one from the store. He was joined by McCauley and they both stayed with me until the ambulance arrived. Their support was very much appreciated, such lovely humans. Thank you too for lending the defib, fortunately not needed. We also shopped in the store and were amazed at how many manned checkouts there were. You are very lucky Beccles! Chris and Mel
The store is satisfactory for the most part however the medication area is so disorganised . When I have looked for products such as ear drops and sudocream it takes so long to find as there is not structure in the way things are played out . I couldn’t even find sudocream or any sort of eczema treatment products in this area will be stocked with no rhyme or reason such as vaginal cream in the quit smoking section
I always shop at Tesco’s and they are my favourite stores. Unfortunately this store is a disgrace! No trolleys in the trolley bay I had to wait for another customer to load her groceries into her car so I could use it. Unpleasant staff to the point of rudeness and shelves empty on many items. I don’t expect shelves to be empty at 09.00 on a Friday morning! This is not the first time I’ve experienced this. I certainly won’t be using this store again in future I shall drive to Ipswich (Copdock) or Martlesham where the staff are friendly and trolleys are readily available

Very unhelpful duty manager(MW), and one of his staff member. Yesterday, I have to drive to different tesco store, just because one of his colleague said no they can't help me due to Tesco policy. But same thing was done in other store within 5 minutes. So duty manager said no because one of his colleagues had already said they can't help me. So seems like it wasn't Tesco policy. I wasted 2 hours and petrol just because of 2 unhelpful beccles staff members. Oh btw i went back and showed him the proof other store done the same thing with in 5 min #don't-put-colleage-ego-first #unhelpful #don't-know-their-own-policies
29/12/2022 waited over an hour for click & cole team. And got most of my order subbed. Wasn’t impressed
This is my favourite Tesco store although I live several miles away. I usually find it easy to get a good plentiful shop on my visits and only a few times found some items not in stock. I like the layout of the premises and the fact that there is Tesco mobile shop in the store which is where I purchase a new phone about once in every three years on average. I've always had good service so the visits have been a pleasant experience.
