   I went on the Secret of the Lanes tour with my husband. We were the only two, so it was a private tour for just us! It wasn’t canceled on us, so major kudos right from the start. With other attractions, if so few sign up, then owners might decide to hustle cancel, but Ric didn’t do that! They had a lot of knowledge about the history of Brighton. Many topics were discussed: important figures, health & wellness, social movements, business, and architecture. It feels like you are getting the inside scoop on things that you never would have noticed on your own. Highly recommend!

   We went on the LGBTQ+ history tour of Brighton this Saturday and absolutely loved it. Our guide, Ric, was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough – you could tell how passionate he was about sharing Brighton’s rich and fascinating queer history. Even as locals, we learned so much and heard incredible stories we’d never come across before. It really made us see our city in a new light. Highly recommend this tour to anyone – visitors and locals alike – who want to understand more about Brighton’s LGBTQ+ history and the amazing people who helped shape it.

In addition, we found Ric to be attentive, well-prepared and easily able to field all of our questions. We had a thoroughly enjoyable and fascinating afternoon. Highly recommended!

   Ric was early & easy to find at exactly the place he shared to meet. Wonderful tour that even held the attention of my teenagers! He was a fabulous tour guide with tales supported by photos on his tablet that he brought along. Greatly enhanced our experience in Brighton! Love the seaside city, love the diversity, love the history, & loved having Ric as our guide. Please share a tip with Ric for me too if you have a bit to spare, as I managed to leave my purse in the car/thought I'd lost it! He definitely deserves it & is worth scheduling the tour with him!

   I had a lovely time on this tour in Brighton! I came in mid-November, which is perhaps risky weather-wise but I happened to come down on a sunny, beautiful day! Ric was a lovely host, starting off in Regency Square. I went into this tour a bit blind, so I was delighted to learn that many famous queer people have spent time in Brighton! It was really cool to learn about the history of the places these people used to reside. This was an excellent way to be introduced to the city and I can't wait to come back one day and explore all the nooks and crannies that this gorgeous seaside city has to offer.

   This is a great tour! We managed to see several parts of Brighton in just 90min. We found Ric to be very knowledgeable, he had lots of great stories about specific characters from the history of Brighton and specific buildings as well. The stories were so well told that we felt like we were traveling back in time. The tour ended with an uplifting note that we particularly liked. We could have easily spent another hour listening to Ric. We highly recommend it for anyone who wants to get to know the history of Brighton! Thanks so much!
