   Lovely 1970s decor hotel offering excellent service and cooked breakfast at 1970s prices. (Near enough). Large car park too.

   Weird, dated, has a black mould issue. When you leave your room you have to leave your key with reception (very weird) in the morning we were woken up by a cleaner blaring music out of his phone speaker full blast. Super unprofessional - asked him to turn it off and he proceeded to continue playing his music. All in all a dreadful experience in a hotel that needs a total overhaul - avoid it, Travelodge is cleaner, quieter and not stuck in 1970. Also, the lift is a health and safety nightmare - if you have small children use the stairs as it’s a serious finger-trap issue with the sliding cage….

   Small room, brown water out of hot tap to start, TV didn't work, dirty, torn carpets in main areas and my bedroom. Total refurb well overdue. Breakfast is set price £8.95 even if all you have is toast! Good value for full breakfast. Bed comfortable, nice bedding. Friendly staff. Lift but cranky! Loads of free parking. Location good. Near railway station and football stadium.

   It's the noisiest hotel I've ever stayed in, you can here the people in the room talking and moving about 2 doors down. There was no Internet in the rooms upstairs even tho its advertised. Also not very clean in the bathroom with mould on the walls. The shower hardly pushed any water out to the point it was easier to have a wash in the sink. Apart from that it was great.

   This hotel has a homely feel but is in need of a refresh which I understand is in the planning stages. There is plenty of parking, the staff are all friendly and helpful and the room I had although quite dated was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good value and there was plentiful it.

   Tired dated interior. Not very clean. No sound proofing. Kept awake by people banging about on top floor. Website advertised, no breakfast being served. But there was !! But luckily there is Wetherspoons about 10min walk. It needs a good refurb. No phone to ring reception. Shower had leaking, not hot water in the sink. It would be worth your money to pay a bit extra to stay somewhere else. Noticed staff did not like to wear masks. Not very friendly staff

   The staff were so welcoming and friendly! It was well furnished and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was good and it was a nice touch that there was a tea and coffee tray. Having the bathroom redecorated sometime in the near future would make a huge difference to the overall feel of the rooms. The doors were quite loud when they shut but didn't end up disturbing us. We had a bit of an issue with the lock on one of the doors but overall it was a great stay and I would come again.

   It was most horrible hotel I've ever been to. We just left our bags there as we arrived and went to meet our friend in the city. Place looks old, but doesn't matter much we thought. When we came back later and went into bathroom we found cut toe nails in it, there was no lock on the door and you couldn't even close it properly. There was pretty much 1,5 towel for 2 adults. Light was shinning into our window all night that was directed to light up building and curtains didn't block any of it. Windows didn't block any noise from outside. There was condom and some random rubbish left from previous guest. And I can carry on... we were actually extremely lucky to get clean sheets on our bed. If we wouldn't have 3hr long drive and a night out before getting in I'd most probably asked for another room, but getting back late and tired we just went straight to bed.. wouldn't advise it to anyone.
