    Wrong opening hours on Google — it shows as open, but when you go there, it’s closed. It can’t be that hard to update the opening hours.

    I went last month, and the attitude of the staff at the counter was shocking. They made me wait several days, and when my husband went to pick up the medication, they didn’t know anything. I even had to leave work to go myself. The service at the counter was really poor. The pharmacist is more empathetic, but the front-line staff are unpleasant.

    I love Boots, the pharmacy, the staff is great most of the time, with exceptions, of course. Knocked down two stars for the closure at lunch time. Seriously? Who does that in this time and age? Especially a place that dispenses medicine! Most people work and the only time they have to pick up their prescriptions is at lunch time! It’s definitely not convenient. The staff could have different times for a lunch break, I’m sure. This is so 20th century, so backwards.

    Worst attitude I’ve ever experienced, would even say rude !! would not even dispense my prescription because the Doctor had forgotten to put my DOB on the prescription , even though I had photo proof on me with my date of birth on it, was told to go back to Brighton hospital from Newhaven,( I don’t have a car) and get the Doctor to amend, You have lost my business, I would never use or recommend this shop too anybody, Boots you need to teach your staff some manners and maybe basic customer manners , and yes I did read the poster and abided by the rules of no verbal abuse

    Great while your in there. I don't know why they bother having a phone number to call them tho. I've sat for three hours and called over 40 times in row they never answer. No matter what day.

    This branch of Boots is a small one. However it is handy to get the normal Boots products. The staff are helpful & friendly. You can also order from the website & collect from the store. It is now the only chemist in Newhaven high street.

    Always have good buys, happy to help with medical issues.... can even get a private consultation but the only thing is they are not that reliable when it comes down to the prescription department, when there is new people they dont seem to entirely know what to do or where everythin is... overall good experience

    The store is perfect for just popping in for the odd item and for the pharmacy. Note that the pharmacist has a lunch break with no one to cover so during this period you cannot collect prescriptions. It is a small store so just holds the main items which is fine and you can have items delivered to the store. The store is starting to look very unloved and some if the shelves are sitting empty. I do wonder how much longer it will remain open.
