Lovely experience following an appointment with Elia to obtain antibiotics for a UTI. Managed to get an appointment within a few hours of calling. Elia was kind, empathetic and personable, he’s an asset to your team! The lady who helped me on reception was also super warm (my apologies, I don’t know her name).

50 minute wait for a “ready” prescription, no urgency, walked to Kamsons and back within that time for a “ready” prescription and was in and out.

I generally avoid this chemist as there always seems to be lengthy queues when I go in. I use Kamson in central avenue instead. Eg today at one point there was 7 staff behind the counter, only 1 person serving a queue of 6 about 5-10 mins per person. A second cashier finally came out about 15 minutes wait

If you have the option to go to another pharmacy, I highly recommend doing so. The staff here are incredibly rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful. I went in to buy an eye ointment because I was experiencing irritation, likely due to an oncoming stye. Both a doctor and other pharmacies had recommended this over-the-counter ointment, and many pharmacies even have it available on the shop floor. However, the man behind the counter refused to sell it to me, insisting it wouldn’t help. I explained that I had used it before, even under the guidance of an NHS doctor, but he still refused, claiming he wasn’t allowed to sell it—despite confirming they had it in stock and that it wasn’t prescription-only. They had the eye drops available on the shop floor, which are essentially the same but in liquid form, whereas I prefer the gel because it soothes my eyes more. This is completely unacceptable. Pharmacy staff should not have the authority to override medical recommendations and personal experience. If I had simply picked up the eye drops from the shelf, no one would have questioned me. To make matters worse, the man was extremely rude throughout the interaction. I hope his manager sees this—if not, I will be contacting them myself. Absolutely disgraceful! If I could give zero stars, I would.

Would be great if you could get through, 30 minute call queue to be told medical emergencies only. I've had more pleasant experiences having my teeth out. Other than that can't say a bad word about them, mainly due to the fact I haven't managed to be seen in 3 years

A few weeks ago I struggled to locate a written prescription given by the surgery. The pharmacy was 5 minutes from closing and I kept calling to see whether it had arrived. The male pharmacist was so helpful and patient. I really needed the medication and had tried for a good hour to get it. Eventually, I got the prescription exactly as the pharmacy was closing. Despite having to be somewhere else, the pharmacist and his colleague stayed for an extra 10 minutes and made up my prescription. I forgot his name but they were both so lovely. I don’t think they get enough credit and I hope they see this, thank you!

Appalling Service - I wish I was able to leave zero stars because they honestly do not deserve a single star. I attended today for my flu vaccination - previously booked online some 2 weeks prior and subsequently confirmed by Well Pharmacy via email. When I arrived I was told that They had no record of my booking - then I was told they had no vaccine for me and then I was told that I had been contacted to cancel my appointment. I advised that I had heard nothing from them either by email or on my mobile - both sets of information that they held from my online booking request. Imagine my surprise when some 5 minutes after I left the pharmacy and 3 minutes before my allocated appointment time I received an email from them cancelling my appointment !! Clearly they had not contacted me prior to this and I was lied to my face - I will never trust this pharmacy again - my advice to anyone considering using this inept pharmacy purely because it is attached to the Anchor Healthcare surgery and appears convenient is DO NOT BOTHER wasting your time - head for KAMSONS on the South Coast Road and save yourself time & energy. Very Stressful experience with an uncaring and inept pharmacy

I understand being a pharmacist and serving the public must be incredibly hard at this time. However, I have just been served (or not as I was told to come back after I waited outside for just under an hour) in the most rude fasion. As I said, I understand it is stressful, however, if you expect your customers to comply with the rules and be nice to you, maybe it should work both ways?! People are not coming to a pharmacy without a good enough reason and especially now deserve better manners, I think.
