This pharmacy has dreadful reviews, and rightly so. It is awful: long ques, painfully slow service, rude staff, the lot. Easily the worst pharmacy I have had the displeasure of visiting. Avoid.

I understand how stressful pharmacies can be as I used to work in one. But every time I come here, I am ignored at the counter and given awful attitude. It's happened a few times now and I've had enough. The first bad encounter I was told my online order never arrived when it had. The second time I was told my prescription would be a half hour wait (even though it was sent to pharmacy the day prior) and this was about 7pm. So I do some shopping. Come back. Not ready. Then I get told I wouldn't be getting my prescription because the store will be closing soon. I had no medication left at this point and had already been a day without it. Finally I got my medication. Then today I ring up to ask if there's any over the counter contraception called Hana l, I get an instant "no we don't have that". Well I come in half an hour later and it's there on the shelf. So I wait to be served. Ignored again. When I'm finally served, it's as though I'm the biggest inconvenience going. I've had enough and I'm so glad I changed my nominated pharmacy. I just can't get over the attitude and lack of patient care. Sorry for choosing to be a patient/customer, I won't inconvenience you again.

Came here for the first time in over a year for tooth pain relief and asked for Nurofen....wow that was a mistake as the lady serving me then started being rude accusing me of getting Nurofen there all the time like I was some sort of druggy! She continued to argue with me and was very shocked in her behaviour... I then walked out as felt embarrassed infront of other Customers. Will be taking this further with Lloyds!! Date was 27th October 2022.

One of few pharmacies that's open after 8 PM in Brighton. I was visiting Brighton for a short stay and got a sore through after a windy weekend. Found that this place was still open in the evening and went there to buy a cough syrup. The young man at the front desk was very helpful.

I attended with my friend who needed to get some vital medicine which had to be consumed in a certain amount of time. As we were waiting a pharmacist was shouting at a young girl. In that time a male pharmacist came over and gave my friend the forms she needed to fill out. We had to wait for the woman pharmacist who had been yelling. This pharmacist made her buy a mask and would not give her the medicine until she did, as we stated this is not a law we have no legally obligation too, but as time was ticking and the situation was getting embarrassing we just did. She was like come back when you have a mask even though we had stated how important it was she takes the medicine that day. It was an unacceptable experience and no one should ever be treated like that especially went getting medicine.

WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO!!! Went online to book a pharmacy appointment. It gave me a list of available appointments. Booked it. Got a confirmation email "You are all booked in". Booked the time off. Got a reminder email the day before. Got a taxi over there, found it (horrible dirty looking place). Queued to check in. Then I was told "The pharmacist isn't in today". You can only book appointments by phoning. I showed them the email and they said I should have phoned. Beyond furious. I would really appreciate if they would reimburse me for my time and the taxis there and back.

Went there for an OTC first gen anti histamine. The guy at the counter was friendly, but when he pulled in the main pharmacist, an older lady, I was treated like a criminal, and she would keep re-iterating things I never said and in the end even resorted to yelling at me and did not listen to anything I said, despite trying to explain myself calmly. Absolutely awful experience. And I had to wait for 10 minutes at the counter with no queue to even initiate the bad interaction.

Awful simply a horrible experience if you need to buy at this pharmacy. The staff are just unpleasant there is a high shelf between the area where they prepare prescriptions and the OTC medicines. The staff however many are on duty are always behind this as any number of customers start to build up.When you do manage to get any of them to acknowledge you which is likely 10 minutes or more they are just rude. Like another review said one lady seems hard of hearing and with masks on at present you have to really shout for her to understand you and when you do she gets even more rude with you. The only decent thing is it is open late as inside a supermarket. I rarely use it but have had to do so more often now that Ashtons the late night chemist closes at 6 pm instead of closing at 10 pm. It is the last resort to use this though as the experience is just deeply unpleasant I often just go to ASDA in the marina If it’s past 6 pm and I need a prescription filling or some OTC meds even though it is a much longer journey for me as at least they are pleasant unlike here.
