This review is not about Ashton's but the Seven Dials Pharmacy who took over. Not impressed by them at all and the delays and overall atmosphere within this place. Next time I need a prescription I will ask my surgery to send the request somewhere else.

Terrible experience. I called up to check on stocking an item on Thursday, they said yes we have 1 box come now. Upon going up they said they’d confused things, no they don’t have it but come back tomorrow after 2. We went back on Friday afternoon to be told no we don’t have it, we’ll call you tomorrow. We heard nothing on Saturday so called 10am Monday morning, please call back in 30 mins, I did so to be told oh I’ll call you when it come in. Called again at 4pm he said I’ll call you in 5 mins, waited 15. Called back 3 times and got no answer so went in to be told at 17.30, no we don’t have it. So went have wasted 4 days trusting them and now have run out.

I've been with this pharmacy for over 2 years now and they are always so friendly and patient. It is a small pharmacy so they don't tend to have everything.

I had been unaware that ASHTON's have been taken over by a new comapany quite recentley. A repeat perscription wasn't filled properly, when I went back to ask for the rest, they couldn't find it on their system. As I ordered it via the NHS APP it won't be able to be percribed till end of next month. Had to go back to my GP to ask for it. Still have yet to hear from them either. Was told of the change and that when they took over all the previous stock had to be taken out and replaced as this is law to do so. While I was there the first time they had given a lady the wrong doseage and when she came back to tell them rather distraught ,they were like deer in a headlights. Had a sneaking suspicion it was for medicine for treatment to reduce a Class A addiction. I think this needs to be mentioned by the new staff,of which there seems to be a lot of. This perhaps may be a bit more understandable thst this is the case. Till then I still need to be able to find away to be able to get my meds.

It's become disappointingly shoddy. New owners have taken over ... and a new pharmacist has just started there and he is so infantile, unprofessional and incompetent. He was extremely rude and sarcastic to me! I was shocked at how sloppy the customer service has become. A pharmacist is supposed to be a professional who people trust they can go to for medicinal advice and who has his/her customer's best interests at heart. Someone who treats their staff with respect too, especially their female staff. What a joke!!!This new pharmacist belittles and aggressively shouts at the female staff actually in the pharmacy itself where customers are!!! Not the right way to treat women! It was an awful experience. I WOULD NOT recommend using this pharmacy with that sub standard service! Such a shame because the other pharmacists that were there were so much nicer and better.

Never been. This is an edited review as they pop up when you type in Ashton’s pharmacy even though I didn’t add the word hospital. It was a very bad review for the other place. Though this place did hang up on me like four times in a row when I called them thinking they were the pharmacy in Seven Dials. I didn’t get a chance to speak. They obviously just didn’t want to answer their phone. First time could hear voices before the click. Every time after just a quick click hang up after ringing.

When I was at Lakeside hospital, we used this firm and at one point, they didn't stock my contraceptive pill at all so had to look all over the country for it which took in excess of a week. The MAR chart is generic with generic times (0800, 12noon, 1800 and 2200) pre-printed rather than allowing you to put the time of your choice even though some meds are 6 times a day on the PRN chart, it has a 24 hour limit on when you can have PRN even though some PRN's does not have a 24 hour limit (especially creams)

My partner has a large hamper of prescriptions and the young lady who was run ragged looking for them did an amazing job and clearly cares for the clients. Did not take too long. Thanks again!

Warning: You could die waiting for them to get your prescription sorted and likely won’t be able to complete it.
