The visit was a great experience, my appointment was in time. Everything was explained to me. They were very helpful, both the optician and the staff. The person stayed with me and helped me choose the right frames and helped me to get the best price. The is a wide range of frames and the fitting was easy.
Staff really friendly and informative, been going to optical express in cardiff in years and kept getting palmed off that my eyesight was fine but my migraines have increased so knew something was off - my vision is so much better now with my glasses. My migraines are less already. Staff aren't pressurising, I said i was happy to browse to find my own glasses, they left me to it, they gave me time and I went up to the desk with a pair and then they sorted them out and I collected them a week later after work. My parents and sibling are already going to be coming here instead of their usual opticians now too.
I arranged an appointment at the requested of my GP and they were incredibly helpful. I was offered to be seen the following day. On arrival I was greeted politely, they were efficient and made me feel very comfortable.
The team were all brilliant with me from start to finish. Each person fully explained each step and were all more than happy to help if I needed it. Thank you very much to the team
Staff were friendly and attentive, although I thought as times the store manager was distracted elsewhere whilst I was having my appointment, but I just assumed he was super busy. Other than that I was made to feel relaxed and welcomed. Overall though I'm happy with my outcome of my appointment.
All staff from optician to assistants were professional, knowledgeable and so helpfull.

Disappointing experience. Particularly the Asian staff member who seemed reluctant to complete the OCT that I had paid extra for. The staff also seemed to not be very well trained or knowledgeable.
I had a pleasant experience at this Specsavers location. I found it a quick but not rushed appointment. The optician I saw explained everything in a professional and non patronising way. I also liked the fact that they did not push to try and sell me any products after or during my appointment but did give me advice relating to their products should I wish to look into them further. The reception staff were also very friendly and helpful. I shall endeavour to be using this branch for my appointments from now on.
