Bar staff all young and imature dont acknowledge when you want to be served. When you finally are served they charge you the wrong amount. Manager doesn't have time for questions and rather than answering them will just eject you from the venue. Doorman are aggressive and bully small women. Even if your covered from head to toe will call you every nasty name under the sun. They dont wear their sia badge on their arm on show as they are supposed to. Avoid. If I could give no stars I would. It makes sense why this is a 3 star venue

I came to pryzm for the first time in months. Leonida was one of the best bartenders I’ve seen in a long time. She worked fast, checked up on me when I was upset and was so lovely to everyone even while under pressure. Definitely coming back because of her. Amazing service.

The best team ever!! Bianca and Louis was so helpful and devoted to helping me find my phone, Louis came out covered in dust and cobwebs just to help find it. Bianca was so sweet and comforting and never gave up trying to help. Both are lifesavers, and everyone else on the team too, including the security and special mention to radio Carl, who kept our spirits up.

This place is a joke.. seriously need to recruit some nicer staff, rude as can get. Never want to go again, I'll be sure to spread the word so that people avoid this place, you get treated like a criminal throughout the time you are here, drinks ridiculously expensive. I don't seem to be the only one complaining, so why does nothing change? Clearly big boss man couldn't care less about customer experience.

If I could give 0 starts I would - AWFUL service, we tried to get our coats we had left in a booth by the entrance on our way out but we’re told we were not allowed. When we asked when we we would be able to retrieve our coats we were told we wouldn’t be able to get them until everyone had exited the club. We waited until everyone had left before asking the workers if we were then able to go get our coats- they rudely assured us the club was ‘CLOSED’. We made it clear we were aware and only wanted to retrieve our coats from the venue that we were assured we’d be able to get them from. All they said was that we were ‘too late’ and there was ‘nothing we could do’ despite having been there since the place starting kicking people out. SO AWFUL,AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Tall doorman wearing a total face covering walking around on the footpath outside said I need either a passport or driving licence to get in, I'm 38 and was staying next door in the travelodge. I tried to talk but the ski mask doorman chose to barely acknowledge me. I agree with what everyone else is saying, door staff are a bit moody and it was only 11 o'clock lol By 1 o'clock the queue was full of young lads, so I don't think I missed much, and I imagine the doorman was even more annoyed by then

Do NOT BOOK THIS VENUE!!!! Honestly I am appaled at the handling of our recent cancer research comedy event held in Pryzm Brighton (11th Dec) and I do not know where to begin. I am part of a group that participated in a charity stand up gig for cancer research, the event kicked off at 3pm Sunday, we arrived for rehearsal at 1pm and were quite surprised to find no venue staff, no event organisers or management; the venue looked like it had the night before - an absolute mess with tissues, bottles, disused vapes all over a sticky dirty floor. We were pointed in the direction of the chairs (in the dingy basement with no lighting - I have a video of this) to collect and put out ourselves, we were not given a lift to use so we had to carry chairs up the stairs 5 at time (to put out 200!!) We had no access to the microphone or lighting setup prior to our guests arriving. Doors were due to open at 3 and there were no staff manning it so guests started coming in early with no tickets checked whilst we were still setting up. A microphone did not work completely ruining the set of a fellow comedian. I would like to reiterate this was a charity event, raising money for cancer research, so initially I understood why the venue charged £25 a ticket (some for running costs, some for CRUK,) I would however have expected some of this money to have gone towards the set up and not to arrive to have to do this myself. Considering also that we are all amateurs who have never been on a stage before, to have to use our final rehearsal time to have to get our venue ready is disgraceful. It is the last thing any of us needed on our minds also, I had friends and family travel as far as Liverpool to come and see me and I wanted to give them the best show possible, I do not believe that the venue helped facilitate this, going as far to say they hindered us and directly impacted the quality of the performance. To any future bookers - I would strongly consider whether you would like to take the gamble that if you select this venue for your event, you may show up to a S*** show, I have to give full credit to my event organiser for getting creative at the last minute to solve some of these problems. They will leave you on your own and you can only hope for the best. Truly shocking for a cancer based amateur charity event.

I have never experienced such blatant and obvious ableism, i was refused entry as i was deemed “too drunk” to enter when in reality i had had one drink but, with the rain and wind i could not hear what the bouncers was saying. I’m autistic so i struggle with communication especially when there is a lot happening. I tried to explain this but they refused to listen. we ended up going to CHALK another club down the road from pryzm and had a great time
