   Went to the club last night and was agressivly, verbally accosted by the tall long haired heavy metal type barman. Who did not attempt to ask with any polite tone at all. Almost shouting “don’t park your bikes outside, park them in the street, when you go you fill the club up with fumes” almost as if he had been instructed to be agressive to me by others. I found this very rude and wait an apology from the management. I have been a member here for several years and to have found the staff delightful in the past. This individual is rude and talking down to local businessmen and club members I don’t think is club protocol. Correct me if I am wrong. The club often fills up with bad smells far more intolerable than the fait whiff of 2 stroke. None of this clubs google reviews have been answered. This is not a good sign as a public reply to each review is standard business protocol for any serious business that care about customers and the concern of complaints.

   First time in 15 years since I have bern there. Paid £2 guest fee. Absolutely worth every penny. Good beer. Lovely staff and Lovely people. Clean, tidy and going to become a member myself.

   Recovering from lockdown tonight, The Club was quiet by the time I got there, at about 9.40. It"s very relaxed - not covid- careless though, as befitting a mature clientele - and the barpersons are excellent and bar steward Mick Batchelor and sidekicks Josh, Caroline, Hannah and Paul are amusing and friendly. Whenever my friends come they are always pleasantly surprised at the staff, the nice atmosphere and cheap drinks. I love it and people mix a fair bit,the bantz is great and the food is excellent value too. Lindfield has many virtues and this Club is certainly not the least. The quizzes every 2nd Sunday are fun and will exercise your brain and Bingo is a perennial treat each Monday with theatre trips a rarer but no less enjoyable treat. Support your local Club, as a James Garner film once enjoined us: you won't regret it. P.S. Did I mention the quiz? Brilliant AND bespoke. Big snowball prize? Go on, amaze your friends with your general knowledge and win a cash prize! P.S. On No Account mention "the one dog" or "north of Balcome" to the quiet, unassuming Mr Batchelor.
