I have to say that our stay was disappointing, which was a shame as we booked our Wedding at Cobbles and this was so close and had a good rating. Please don’t do the same. Book somewhere else so this doesn’t spoil your big day I believe the host has had a period of illness however he needs to close the business as he’s unable to provide customer care. If you are in a customer facing business you need to be able to provide a certain level of service and contact. Our small bridal party booked the venue a year in advance, and we made it clear it was for a wedding. It was slightly upsetting to receive a mediocre room which didn’t have the same facilities as our guest’s rooms and zero effort made for us being the Bride and Groom. Please don’t think I’m a bridezilla. Not at all. I just didn’t expect such indifference. We were only doing this once and wanted it to be special. To ensure everything was running smoothly, we visited the guesthouse a few months before the wedding. I was a bit paranoid and wanted to check all was well. We again mentioned it was for a wedding. Sadly, throughout all face-to-face contact with our host i was made to feel I was inconveniencing him. Yet emails consistently were ignored. Hence our in person visit. It just made me sad as a little fuss would’ve been a nice touch. Our wedding was after all a once in a lifetime event for us. Our host seemed out of it, which of course would be due to his illness, and I do feel for him however I wish we’d booked somewhere else as it did take the shine off our special day.

Upon arrival, we were shown to a room with an unmade bed and dirty bathroom. Then shown to another room, which was ok. Asked what time we would like breakfast, replied we didn’t know as we were meeting our son locally. Next morning, no breakfast, reception locked, no one available or answering the phone. Don’t waste your money here

I cannot recommend the Ewenny Farm Guest House highly enough. Fabulous location, hotel quality rooms, extremely good value and efficiently run. A one night stay in order to attend a funeral, Howard was an amiable host. A full breakfast was included in the very reasonable price and was excellent. Importantly for me, good gluten-free options were available and there was even a choice of gluten-free bread. Convenient and safe parking. The room and facilities were high end considering the price and wouldn't be amiss in a quality hotel. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this superb B&B again.

A lovely host and a beautiful property. Freshly cooked breakfast each morning (served with a smile)..... What more can you ask for. I will definitely stay there again in the future.

Stayed here for one night. Howard was extremely helpful and even booked my taxi for the following day. If you have any disabilities I would not recommend staying here as the stairs to the bedrooms are fairly steep, and there isn’t a ramp. The room was a good size and clean. I’m shocked by some of the other reviews as I didn’t experience any hostility from Howard despite oversleeping and not getting to breakfast on time. The guest house is set in lovely grounds and isn’t too far away from the train station.
