Although I didn’t manage to stay i’d like to leave a positive review. I had booked to stay here to visit family in Swansea. However due to unforeseen circumstances and unexpected family issues I had to cancel very last minute. I contacted them and they were able to accommodate my cancellation free of charge and were very kind. I was very appreciative of their sympathy and patience to my situation and for that, I would definitely recommend this place. I am excited to stay there in the future someday :)

Myself and my sister stayed recently. We travelled from Heathrow to Bridgend and the lovely hosts let us check in around 9.30pm - which were really friendly. The room had everything you could need for a night away, rooms were made up and pretty clean, most of cosy. Beds were really comfy and the shower was pretty good with good water pressure. Overall a really good stay and great value for money. It's nice and secluded so makes for a nice quiet place to be. All I would say is the sign posting could be a little better as if it's dark like when I had arrived it was a little difficult to see as the postcode doesn't take you to proper location. But a minor issue and fairly easily found if you look properly. Thank you for a pleasant stay away from home. Would highly recommend if your staying for the near Bridgend.

Stayed at Hazelwood House for a cycling event in the area, we stayed for two nights and were very happy with the experience. Tony was very accommodating, check in was effortless. We had the cooked breakfast on the second morning and it was brilliant. The rooms were clean and tidy with great facilities, the place is a bit dated in décor but it was still clean and functional, the beds were comfortable and clean.

What a wonderful place with outstanding people. Tony went above and beyond to help us during our 2 night stay. Beautiful gardens with birds tweeting to wake up too and a nice country walk into town. Thanks to Jane and Tony for everything. Highly recommend for a comfortable and welcoming stay.

Lovely place to stay. Very friendly and great rooms. Thought of everything you might need for a great stay. Iron and ironing board outside rooms, water dispenser and extra tea, coffee etc outside the rooms. Even spare toilet roll outside the rooms. My room had a fridge and microwave and even a leather sofa to lounge on. Plenty of space to relax outside with a drink. Lovely breakfast in the dining room which is beautifully set out with tablecloths and all matching crockery. Have stayed her a few times. Can very highly recommend.

Very charming, clean and friendly bed and breakfast. The owner and staff helped calling a taxi, and offered tea or coffee after we checked out and were waiting for the ride! We are definitely coming back.

Went there as I had an hospital appointment in Bridgend early next morning, literally 5 mins from hospital. Great room, comfortable bed and the staff were friendly, good breakfast in the morning so it was a pleasant experience.

A lovely family run home and a very welcome to the family feel as you walk in. Beautiful house and everything you need, there was even a trouser press. Breakfast was lovely from cereals to freshly cooked Welsh breakfast. Only thing I can say there was a lot of dust on the skirting boards and artificial curtains. We had the downstairs room and there was only vertical blinds and I personally felt a bit exposed to the outside world. Otherwise I would definitely stay again.

Perfect location, found this lovely guesthouse after ringing several hotels which were all fully booked and am I glad they were! Was greeted by the owner and shown to my room a light airy double room with the most comfortable bed, great shower, plus extras like tea making facility, fridge and microwave. Free parking outside. Delicious vegetarian breakfast. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a friendly and very reasonable place to stay in Bridgend
