We stayed at Y Doc for a short school trip. I work at a school in France, and we visited our partner school in Wales. Since it’s a hostel-like place, we didn’t have high expectations. However, we were blown away by the hospitality, comfort, and food. Oh my God, the food! I took pictures of every meal because it was so good! Becky, Marc, and their team cooked for us daily and made sure we were well fed. They also helped us wherever they could. Even though there was plenty of room left, we had the accommodation just to ourselves. Coffee, tea, and biscuits were always available. I highly recommend this place. I’ve never felt more at home on a school trip.
