   Appalling experience with Day’s Van Rental today. We booked a 24-hour van to help our son move house, and I even phoned this morning to confirm the collection time — all supposedly fine. But when we arrived, we were abruptly informed that 24-hour bookings “don’t exist” and were told we’d have to pay a full weekend rate instead. No apology, no ownership of their incompetence, just a cold shrug and an inflated bill. When I explained that we simply couldn’t afford their sudden price hike, the attitude got even worse. We were told that “every company is closed on a Sunday” so we had no other option — which is blatantly untrue, as Hire Me Swansea Van & Car Rental offers genuine 24-hour Saturday rentals. Day’s wasted our time, jeopardised our moving plans, and treated us with dismissiveness and misinformation. Utterly disgraceful service. Never again.

   Have rented vans from the Gorseinon branch twice now, both times for moving furniture. The customer service has always been top quality, rental prices transparent and reasonable, and the vans themselves are new, well maintained and easy to drive. They give you a full walkaround of the vehicle before you depart, and even have the courtesy to point out defects, scratches etc. even if you haven't noticed them yourself, which is very professional as no doubt other companies would try to blame clients and charge them for these despite them being pre-existing defects. Highly recommended and will be using them again anytime we require a vehicle.

   Be careful if you hire online. We did this and waited a week and nobody contacted us as it had stated. We called in and the most ignorant man I have ever met just looked at us and said I haven't got any kugas and just didn't care, again I said look we have hired one here's the paperwork but he just shrugged his shoulders and aging said we'll I haven't got anything. Luckily there was another staff member there that said yes we have it's there. This almost spoilt our wedding anniversary but this guy really didn't care.

   It was a Bank Holiday and the Staff were very helpful especially Mr Lewis he really helped a lot. His knowledge was exceptional. We bought a very nice car. And we're offered all the bells and whistles with it. Even though it was in Wales their warranties and guarantees plus all the services were available in London. I am very happy thank you

   One of the best options to hire a car in Swansea, good prices compared to others and clear charges. Usually there is a 250 pounds deposit and 50 quid excess insurance costs 10 pounds a day. Overall, very good place to hire from, only online booking can be improved and automated
