We had a wonderful meal with friends last Saturday night. Despite being busy our lovely server Bella looked after us really well. She was very attentive and we wanted for nothing. The food was superb as well. Will definitely return.
I didn't really do my research on this place as I just needed somewhere to stay to attend a wedding locally... Omg what a find. Lovely clean room with lots of personal touches, Very comfortable bed it was only a single but just enough for me. Bathroom is gorgeous also extremely clean. Staff are amazing very attentive and can't do enough for you. Now the food is amazing i had the sea bass last night it was so gorgeous to look at I nearly didn't want to disturb it on my plate it was equally amazing to taste. Breakfast was fantastic this morning all freshly cooked with local products. A great find and we'll worth a visit either for a short stay or a hearty meal. We'll done coach house you exceeded my expectations and made my trek across country well worth the 4 hour drive.
Shame that Google does not allow you to review the restaurant and food just the rooms. We had a Saturday lunch here and found it very good indeed. The service was friendly and attentive, the food offering was very good as was the standard of the food. There is a very nice ambience inside and plenty of outside seating around a very attractive Georgian building in the centre of Potton. If you are in Potton definitely one to visit for a meal lunch or evening. Indeed one of our friends was so impressed he came back with another friend later in the week for lunch, now that’s a sign of a very good hospitality venue. Well done the team at the Coach House.
I stayed here with work and could not have been happier. The room was large, very clean, and perfect for the evening and an online meeting the following morning. Breakfast was fantastic with several continental self-service and a good range of freshly cooked options too. The English breakfast was lovely with local bacon and sausage and the portion size was just right. The bar staff were brilliant, allowing smooth check-in and finding me a table for dinner even though they were really busy. There is a relaxed but professional approach by all staff. If you need accommodation or just fancy a delicious evening meal, I can highly recommend The Coach House.
We stayed for 1 night. Lovely and clean room with super attentive staff. A bit of disappointing breakfast. However, overall it was a good experience. Watch out with the taxis and try to ask a local which is the best company. We got charged £10 for a 3 mins drive. The driver said minimum fare is £8-10 outrageous.
Very nice. Clean, comfortable, cosy & warm (not too warm) room. It's an old and characterful building but with a nice modern interior decor. Friendly, helpful staff. Slightly disappointed with the continental breakfast, not much choice, maybe most people go for the full English. Anyway, I'd definitely stay again. Also ideal if attending a wedding at nearby South Farm.
What a disaster, our good friends booked a table a month ago in the dining room, we arrived to find we had been moved to the bar area. My ribs were the worst ribs I have ever had, and I have had many over the years. Will never go there again.
A great local restaurant and pub. Food is excellent and good value, and the staff are all really friendly. Have been for both breakfast and dinner a few times now, can't recommend enough.
5 adults and 2 kids. Spent £168.00. food was nice but service was awful, no smiles no thank you, even when I paid a hefty bill at the bar. Not even any smiles for the kids, even when the kids were waving at them and smiling. Have told everyone I know about our experience at this pub. The only thought that comes to mind is that why we were treated like this is that we were an indian family. Will not be spending my hard earned money here again.
