   Located at Eaton Socon, St Neots. Next to River Great Ouse. We drove 30min or so from CB1, to try the food. From the outside, RM looks great. Right by the river. Beautiful. Photo ops there. Booked a table in advance online. Actually not needed as it was quite empty. We chose to have our lunch there at the upper level (1st floor). Staff, alright. Ambience, felt like empty space. Food, nice. We had burgers. Toilet (male): horrid urine stench. OMG. Management should look into it. Get it clean and improve the air ventilation FOR GOODNESS sake. Did we enjoy the food? Yea we did. Would we return? Yes if and only if they clean the toilet.

   Our four children, and their spouses, live across the country making family get-togethers rare and special, and making a Christmas get-together a particular treat for us all. We booked Sunday lunch for twelve of us, and two dogs, at The River Mill. Two of our party were vegetarians and one was gluten-free. Every aspect of our visit and meal was perfect, from the table position and seating, to the really well prepared food. If I started mentioning highlights it would be a long list, everything was delicious. The service was also faultless. Thank you for your part in helping make our day so special.

   We had our staff Christmas party here and honestly had such a good time. The place looked super festive, the food was tasty, and the staff were really welcoming. Everything ran smoothly and the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxed lunch with the team. Everyone enjoyed themselves and we’d definitely come back again for another event. Thanks for a great time !

   Very happy with the Thai Prawn Salad on a warm evening. Prawns were warm. Great flavour combinations of spring onion, chilli and pickled cucumber. Delicious. The Hot Dog, sitting on rather than in the bun, was messy to eat by hand, but was enjoyed using the cutlery. They have a policy to not run a tab unless you're eating indoors. It was frustrating to find the four or five most comfortable tables all reserved, with only one occupied by the time we'd finished our meal and drinks. With a view of the marina, relaxed atmosphere, and well cooked food, I'd recommend a visit.

   Absolutely love this place. We sat up stairs this time as didn't have the dogs with us and it was beautiful. The decor was very nice and had a great vibe. The waitresses were very friendly and helpful, the food excellent as always. Such good value for money.

   The chef was so understanding of our dietary requirements. The way they handle Gluten Free is outstanding. Don't be afraid to tell them the scale of sensitivity, it will benefit you and them. Can't wait to go back.

   We had a Christmas party there and what a great place to do it. Food was excellent. Drinks were numerous and reasonably priced. Staff were super nice and returned quickly. Honestly, nothing negative to say about this place.

   Lovely staff that could not have friendlier or more helpful. The food was delicious. I had a roast beef and everything on the plate was tasty and well cooked. Very generous portion. We sat in the dog friendly room which indeed had a lot of dogs.
