   Well that was an annoying experience! Called at 11:28 to query the “kids eat free” I was told that as long as an adult ordered from the Main Menu and the kids ordered from the kids menu they would eat free. On arrival we was given a MAIN Menu! Naturally we ordered 3 adult means from this menu and 1 kids meal from the kids menu. The service was SLOW but we wasn’t in a rush so we let it slide. The bill came and no free kids meal?!?! We questioned it and was told because we ordered from the back page of the main menu it didn’t count??? We was never told that each page in the “main menu” has its own Terms and conditions! The waited just said they can’t do anything! The boss came over and just explained it all in the terms and conditions! Really?!? Who reads them. After we agreed to just pay it the manger then said I’ll go grab the bill….. 20 mins later we are still sat there waiting! Poor We paid way more than needed to for this level of food and service. Not the afternoon me and the kids were expecting

   We visited the Oakley Hay Beefeater on Friday 12th December as part of an overnight stay at the Premier Inn. Having booked a table due to knowing that it may be busier than usual with Christmas parties we arrived to find out that they had limited the number of bookings to ensure the staff could deliver a good service. Well the plan paid off and I have to admit we could not fault the service or food at all. Sheridan, our waitress, was attentive and friendly throughout the evening, never missing a touch point. The meals, we both had steak, sirloin and ribeye were both cooked as requested and were tasty, tender and well presented. We visit the Oakley Hay when returning to Corby to visit family and this has to be the best experience we have had there. Well done to the team and particularly to Sheridan for looking after us so well.

   ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a great visit to Beefeater and were really impressed with both the service and the food. From the moment we arrived, the team were welcoming, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. We were shown to our table quickly, and our server made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The service was prompt, and our food arrived hot and perfectly cooked. The menu had plenty of choice, with something for everyone, and everything we ordered was delicious — fresh, well-presented, and full of flavour. Portion sizes were generous, and the quality was excellent, especially considering how reasonably priced everything was. It felt like great value for money. The restaurant itself was clean, comfortable, and had a warm, relaxed atmosphere. It’s the kind of place that works just as well for a family meal, a quick bite while travelling, or a casual evening out. The staff clearly take pride in what they do, which really adds to the experience. Overall, the combination of quick service, great-tasting food, and very fair prices made this visit thoroughly enjoyable. We’ll definitely be coming back again soon — a fantastic Beefeater experience from start to finish!

   Typical chain restaurant / pub... normal decor to the rest of the chain, nothing particularly special. Food and drinks are quite expensive, wouldn't eat here unless I had a money saving voucher, which seem quite frequent this time of year. I had a "fillet" steak, it wasn't the worst I have ever eaten, but definitely nowhere near the best either, it wasn't far off a rump. The "skin-on" chips were disappointing, more like oven chips you can do at home. The beef off the bone was better, and the potato wedges were "unusual". As all places, drinks were expensive and not a great choice of beer really. We were there early and the staff were friendly, it soon got busy (due to the bogof promotion I presume), so I did feel sorry for them as they were probably short-staffed.

   Had a great all you can eat breakfast at Oakley Hay. Everything was cooked fresh and the quality was of the highest standards. My wife had vegetarian sausage and bacon which we ordered as we were seated she really enjoyed it . Big shout out to the chef as everything was cooked to perfection. Also a big thankyou to the gentleman that served us so sorry I never got your name but can be seen working away in the 1st picture. This morning it was really busy but as they say quality speaks louder than words. Without hesitation we will definitely be back when we are in the area. Very well executed breakfast with exceptional service and at a reasonable price would sum it all up. Thankyou to all the staff at Oakley Hay Mike Collins Cheshire

   Do not like the silly, wait here to be seated idea. Great friendly staff, busy for a Wednesday. Table service for your drinks and food ordering. Beer and food good for a pub. Should not have babies in after 7 pm.

   Always a great service from the staff and delicious food! Numerous visits previously, Rebecca has been our waitress, she's very friendly and great at her job, nothing is ever too much to ask. Tonight we visited for my mum's birthday and Rachel was our waitress. Another fabulous staff member, super attentive and helpful. All our meals-starters, mains and desserts are consistently tasty and plentiful on every visit. Breakfast buffet is a regular family get together for us here, each child eats free with a paying adult which, is perfect for us and again, the food is yummy. Added bonus is their loyalty card, great savings and deals to be had. One of our favourite places to eat locally!

   Very dissatisfied and disappointed, I invited my family and recommended the place. We waited ages for service as there were not enough staff, sticky tables, sticky floor, disgusting toilets... We waited an hour for burgers which were dry and no vegetables to be found at all. Burger from kids menu had no veggies even though it was pointed out in menu. Portions not big enough. Absolutely disappointed and embarrassed in front of my family. I remember this restaurant when food was delicious but that's not a case any more. I think that lack of staff is the main reason for horrible standard.

   Even though I was warned it was busy and I can clearly see the waitresses are mental busy (Saturday night) the service i received was fantastic. Lovely friendly staff, really good food and beers. I’ve stayed in this hotel many times but don’t think I’ve eaten here before, it’s very good and I’ll eat here next time in staying!
