Do not use these solicitors at all absolute joke they tell you a price over the phone and then when you instruct them the change the price and doesn’t even bother to investigate the price that was given on the phone and just say to you if your not happy use another firm what a joke !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was profoundly sad and upset to see a venerable firm of lawyers such as Birketts acquiesce to the Cultural Marxist ideology by stating on all their correspondence their preferred pronouns. There are TWO genders MALE & FEMALE.
Incredulous! I posted an honest review about someone who caused me financial loss, they instructed Birketts solicitors Norwich who wrote to me at my home address, an address I lived at 20+ years ago and a property I own but do not live at, claiming ‘defamation’ and that my review is false. I ignored their 4 page letter because in my view it is nonsense. 3 weeks later Birketts attempted to hand deliver a letter to my work address – I rejected this, only to find they had stuck it to the front door using excessively strong tape which removed the paint. I put it to Birketts they are harassing me and invited them to make good the damage they caused. They denied harassment and claim no knowledge or liability for their criminal damage. I will report the latter to the authorities – sec 1(1) of the Criminal Damages Act 1971 covers damage to property. The above are true facts.

You can go cheap with conveyancing services, but I've heard the horror stories, and relatively speaking the additional costs were nothing relative to the value of the sale. Everything went smoothly and I would use again; highly recommend.
It would be nice if they answered the telephone. One of the top law firms in the country and they can't answer the phone? How about a reference on a letter, or a name on the bottom? Just a thought!
