   I first came to Glenn as an AOW diver, but having only dived in the UK a handful of times with my university club. Through doing drysuit skills and various dives, I’ve managed to build my confidence diving in the UK. Glenn is particularly helpful with teaching courses to beginners and new students - helping them feel comfortable in the water, which is supported by his great team of welcoming instructors. He is also great at recommending good-quality equipment for a reasonable price. Newhaven scuba also offer an annual abroad trip, which is really fun and accessible to both club and non-club members!

   There are absolutely much better services and options than this one. Unprofessional, rather rude and half-competent representative who rarely/if at all replies (via a ‘call me if no one around’ number) or is present during working hours (set by themselves). It’s usually a week long hassle to even talk to someone, followed by frequent dodging in giving a clear information or an answer (either by irrelevant xp bragging or by providing an answer late) with a goal solely to extract money from new clients. Convincing customers that they know more than they are actually able to handle or provide, eventually avoiding embarrassment by blaming ambient conditions or clients lack of knowledge. Very poor approach and completely unbacked arrogance - glaringly obvious from another instructors perspective and unfortunately not observable by an average client or a person new to diving. Absolutely no chances for refunds even if misinformed, offered incorrectly priced services, and having them not provided in customer friendly manner and/or eventually granted at reduced quantity/quality - take CAUTION

   My daughter was a little apprehensive at first but within minutes of meeting Glenn and the Team (Clive) any apprehension went and a beaming smile was on her face. Glenn is superb and the Team he has put together is amazing. He is so attentive and really passes on his passion for the subject to his pupils. So fortunate to have found him and Newhaven Scuba and if you want to get into the world of diving no better place to begin your exciting journey.

   Glenn, Will & Steve took amazing care of us whilst doing out SSI Deep diving & Enriched Air Nitrox courses this past weekend. Glenn is extremely knowledgeable and experienced which made it easy for us to decide to dive with him, especially as newbies to diving in the UK! I would 100% recommend the team at Newhaven Scuba for your next recreational or course dives!

   Glenn is an excellent instructor with a real passion for diving. His calm and supportive manner made me feel totally at ease with what I was doing. He moved through the training at a pace I felt comfortable with and never made me feel rushed on under pressure. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is considering trying it.

   Did my PADI Open Water course with Newhaven Scuba Centre and honestly couldn't have been more impressed. Was given one-to-one teaching at all times (for no additional cost), and Glenn was incredibly helpful and accomodating. Felt comfortable all the time, and couldn't recommend them highly enough - also managed to get me qualified in just a couple of weeks which was great. Cheers!

   Lucky enough to have done some courses, down at newhaven scuba. The knowledge of the team down there is second to none, and no question is ever treated as to stupid. The atmosphere on just opening the door is very welcoming and they have some very friendly characters. I fully recommend going for any level of diving course

   You feel very safe diving with these guys as they are very knowledgeable and all their experience comes from diving these waters, which is extremely important for the conditions you are likely to find. It's a really friendly club and everyone seems happy and able to help. So if you are on your own you are guaranteed to find a reliable buddy. The shop stocks plenty of essentials and they always have a solution for any equipment you may have forgotten or find fault with. NSC has an exclusive training site at Brighton Marina for members only so you can enjoy as many sheltered open water dives as you like to test new equipment, develop skills and enhance your learning experience. Equipment hire, boat dives and courses are fantastic value here because they are so thorough and I would urge anyone to give them a try. I wouldn't learn with anyone else.
