I had an absolute blast doing my UPRT at FPT, I can’t praise their team enough, they clearly all love what they do! Was truly the best part of my flight training. I personally flew with Adrian and Robbie and they were both fantastic instructors (and super friendly!!). I would really recommend this place.
I completed my UPRT at FPT as the final part of my ATPL training. Huge thanks to Adrian and his fantastic team (and not forgetting Herbie!!) The teams expertise, knowledge and passion are second to none and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thanks once again for a great end to my training!

I gained an immaculate blend of professional knowledge, technical understanding and real life experience as I was lead through the course. FPT has the perfect approach to making a professional course personal, and genuinely makes this an incredibly enjoyable experience. This was the perfect way to finish off my ATPL training course, wish I could do it again!

Every pilot regardless of license or experience should do this course. I learnt so much! The Instructors were knowledgeable, not just by subject matter, but by actual real world experience. Money well spent. Great facility and set up!
Completed my UPRT with FPT in November. An incredibly welcoming, professional and well organised company. The instructors have a wealth of knowledge and experience and they just want to pass on as much as possible. The instructing is delivered in a fantastic manner both in and outside of the aircraft with no chance of any ambiguity. I will definitely recommend FPT for the UPRT course and I hope to visit them again soon!
Completed my UPRT training here. I went in with the mindset that it was a box ticking exercise and only if I knew how wrong I was! The instructors have an enormous amount of knowledge to pass on down to you. The staff were ever so kind and welcoming. The ground school elements of the UPRT were done in person and I can honestly not see it being any other way. It was so interactive and you got so much out of it and was definitely not one of those "death by powerpoint" presentations. As far as the flying elements, the aircraft used is a slingsby firefly which feels completely different to your average PA28. Once again I could not see myself completing the training in any other aircraft. The controls are very sensitive and can make you feel like a fighter pilot at times in manoeuvres. I must have to say, out of all the courses I have had to complete for my CPL/MEIR training, this has far been the most enjoyable and it really does test your emotional capabilities and throughout the two days I really got to know myself immensely and grow confidence. The UPRT really does go beyond the syllabus and most importantly saves lives with the recovery strategy that is taught! Very grateful to everyone at FPT.
I did my Advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training with FPT. It was a professional, friendly and responsive learning environment. What makes this a 5 star review is that they responded to my email request for a scan of my certificate within minutes of me asking.
Had to do my advanced UPRT course in a very short time, with very short notice and in less than ideal circumstances. FPT was able to accomodate this perfectly. The course is very well structured and thought out. All staff was very friendly and the instructors were top notch, both with experience in aerobatics. Very safe and efficient operation, cannot recommend it enough for aUPRT and/or Aerobatic Rating.
