   My daughter started dancing at Brooks when she was 11 years old and was welcomed in. She has made some of her very best friends and has grown so much from her fabulous experience. She has learnt and developed so much as both a creative and technical dancer and has loved being on the dance team. The teaching staff are exceptional and push to get the very best out of every pupil making it both fun and rewarding. I couldn’t recommend Brooks highly enough, Lexie is now 18 but wants to come home from university to take class whenever she can.

   My daughter has just finished dancing at Brooks aged 18. She has absolutely loved her time at Brooks and will really miss the classes and all her friends. There is a wide variety of styles available and all are taught at a very high standard.The competition team are outstanding and the training the team are given really shows at every competition . We have throughly enjoyed being a part of this. Dance has been a massive part of her life and thanks to dedicated and professional teaching my daughter is now able to continue dancing at a dance college for the next three years. I would recommend this dance school 100%

   My daughter started dancing at Brooks 6 years ago aged 12, having pursued competitive gymnastics prior to this. Since being trained by Jackie and Lucy Brooks she has become a very confident and versatile dancer and been given so many valuable performance opportunities. This has enabled her to have the skills and confidence to apply to continue her dance training at degree level. At competitions and festivals Brooks students are frequently noted for their strong technique and also for the highly creative choreography. Training with Brooks has taught my daughter perseverance, resilience, team working, self-confidence, amongst many other things. Jackie and Lucy have high expectations and as a result produce a strong team of performers across the age groups. The camaraderie amongst the students and parents is so supportive which is so important too. I can thoroughly recommend Brooks Dance Academy for excellent training across a range of styles and a very strong base for continuing dance and performing arts training at a higher level. Also a special mention to Alice Rhodes, who teaches commercial/hip hop and street dance at Brooks and who has had a positive influence on my daughter. We are extremely grateful to Jackie and Lucy for giving our daughter the best grounding as she continues her dance journey. They are both extremely passionate about dance and inspire the students to excel.

   I have danced at brooks dance academy since I was 3, brooks has taught me so so much and I am forever grateful. The teaching is absolutely amazing and very professional. Everyone at brooks is so incredibly friendly and happy and it’s like a family. They offer all styles of dance with different teachers. You get so many amazing opportunities and the level of training it amazing. I am going off to pursue dance and I can’t thank brooks dance academy enough, I have loved every minute there and I very highly recommend to anyone who is wanting to start there journey in dance !! X

   Our lovely daughters have been attending Brooks Dance Academy since 1999 when my eldest was almost 3 followed by her little sister 5 years later. Jackie has grown from a small school in a church hall to the beautifully equipped dance studio she now occupies with her brilliant team of dance teachers. Producing amazing productions and results in local competitions. Jackie has given them a lifelong gift with the love of dance. Currently at university my eldest still enjoys dancing as a hobby, to keep fit and relieve stress. As a dance teacher Jackie has helped our daughters achieve many accomplishments and boosted their confidence to walk tall ( and beautifully postured). I highly recommend Brooks dance academy.

   Brooks Dance company taught me the technicality behind different styles of dance, but also the fun of performing. I have danced with Jackie from the age of 3 to 18 and now dance on the competition team at University. She gave us so many opportunities to perform in local competitions and shows, whilst also making sure we were improving. Like most dance schools, Jackie can be strict when it comes to things like technique, but I always knew her critiques were only there to help us get better and because she really cared. I am so grateful for being able to Learn to dance in such a friendly studio and will always be thankful to Jackie for her wonderful teaching.

   As a dancer from the age of 4, Miss Jackie didn't just teach me to dance but also how to perform. The classes I attended were challenging to ensure we achieved our best but I also made close friends in the process after continuing to dance with Jackie until I was 18. I have now continued to dance at university, something I wouldn't be doing if I hadn't had such a good time learning to dance at Brooks dance academy, and after doing it for so long I would never want to give it up. Jackie is a fab teacher and I'm grateful I was taught to dance by her; I enjoyed practicing for shows, competitions and exams and I still miss being part of the dance school!
