Not impressed. Trying to book my annual MRI scan and was told they are trying to find a Radiologist to do it. This is my second phone call in about 7 days re a fairly urgent Prostate Cancer issue.
*Come back to edit this review, after a short conversation with a lovely colleague at the health center I received my results within the day so i felt it only fair to update my review* First couple of appointments were great (when it was healthshare) very quick results everything went through my GP and my results were available within a day or two. Since this last one went through a consultant (since its been Cora... coincidence???) I have been waiting since 18th of August for an ultrasound result with no clue as to when ill receive the result just that they're busy and not there... little bit disappointed I certainly found them better when they were healthshare...
It is a lovely place in a beautiful setting. Yesterday I spent over 20 minutes on the phone. trying to find out the results of my ultra sound from Thursday 9th Oct. I was sent round in circles and only spoke to one human being during all that time. Got cut off twice! Couldn't get anywhere, or any help. Just numbers, that led nowhere...
Fast processing at reception, I arrived early and was moved up the list, settled in waiting area, offered coffee or tea, informed about the length of the wait. Radiographers polite, capable and efficient. ( I have long prothesis in both legs and they knew that I wouldn't fit on a single x-ray of each leg) I assume that they have access to previous x-rays that the radiographers at N&N don't have. Overall, free parking, great well qualified staff and generally pleasant people.
Polite, friendly & professional staff. I came here for an MRI scan - and being someone who is very nervous in any kind of medical setting, regardless of what I’m there for, all the staff really made me feel at ease. From those at reception, to the staff carrying out the MRI itself. They made the whole process quick, and reassured me through the whole experience.
Excellent consultation, investigations and advice. Would recommend going and investing in your health and well being here, I definitely will do from now on. It’s not a replacement for your GP, as they will refer you back when necessary, and fully communicate with them and you. I don’t have private insurance, I pay as I go.
Went for MRI scans this morning. I was anxious after previous experiences, but the care here is superb and the ultra-modern machine so much less claustrophobic, with TV screen with 'calming' film scenes to watch during the procedure. Easy car parking and pleasant environment. Many thanks to Tapiwa and everyone there for their kindness and professional expertise.
Been here twice now as Norwich & Norfolk had no appointments. It's really nice here, everyone I met from the cleaners to the medic staff are lovely. My last visit was a month back and I was left stranded due to taxi issues. This was after 6pm on a Friday night. The taxi arrived after 8pm. The staff made sure I was happy, comfortable and were kind enough to keep me warm. Even the lovely cleaner was comforting whilst I waited 2 hours. So if you're ever in a bad mood go here for a few hours and leave in a good mood. Can't thank them enough let alone praise everyone I met on both occasions. Cheers.
Went to have an MRI scan on my back very early this morning.First patient in and the staff were very helpful.Was dreading the experience as I had to have a feet first experience before ,years ago, but was re-assured that the new technology is so much better. Despite my trepidation everything the operator said was absolutely true More space,virtual reality scenes of Mountains and birds and 9 minutes head first. Brilliant and my Blood Pressure rate much improved
