Ive never had the best opinion on Lynn Hospital but i must say that has completely changed now. This hospital gets slated but they have treated my daughter like royalty, made her feel listened to, treated her with respect, they have been very thorough and professional. All staff, nurses, doctors and the cleaners are so happy and helpful. They couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you all so much.

My husband recently attended the Same Day Emergency Care department ( SDEC). He received fantastic care from all the staff, from the Consultant, Dr’s , nurses, HCA’s, cleaners to the receptionists and X Ray staff. We were kept well informed, and everything was explained clearly. My husband’s medical problem was assessed very efficiently and outcomes/ options discussed. We can’t understand why the hospital has such a low rating. We were also surprised at how good the food was for an NHS hospital! Thank you to all involved in my husbands care.

I was recently at QEH and cannot fault a single person or process that I was involved in. From the receptionist who recognised the severity of my symptoms to every single, porter, HCA, nurse and doctor each and every one helped me with care, kindness and diligence. I had started making a list of names to thank each one but the list became too long. It’s really important to remember there are human beings behind the processes in hospitals and they work jolly hard to treat every patient with respect and humanity. I’m sure more negative reviews are written because that’s what we do as a society - complain more than praise but my experience deserves the highest of praise. I spent my time at QEH in A&E and AMU. Both challenging departments and both extremely well run under the pressures they faced during the time I was there. Thank you to all for the care you provided me .

My experience with this hospital has been extremely disappointing. Despite having a serious health concern, I waited nearly two months (with weekly appointments) without receiving clear answers or any meaningful investigation into my condition. Their response was to schedule more tests in another four months, which made me feel completely overlooked and unsupported. The lack of communication and follow-up left me anxious and unsure about what was happening with my health. After seeking help in a private clinic, I was diagnosed with cancer. I’m in my early 30s, and two other doctors told me that waiting that long for further tests could have been dangerously late. It’s important to say that this hospital isn’t entirely negative. Last year, when I was rushed in with sepsis, I stayed for a week and met some of the most dedicated and compassionate nurses and staff I’ve ever seen. They were truly outstanding. Unfortunately, the consistent issue has always been with the medical investigation side: delays, missed opportunities, and a feeling that my concerns weren’t properly addressed. On top of that, the parking system desperately needs improvement. On more than one occasion, I had to wait almost 40 minutes just to find a space, which only added more stress during already difficult visits. I genuinely hope the hospital reflects on how cases like mine are handled, because no patient should feel ignored when facing something so serious.

Wonderful hospital and Wonderful staff. You have the prayer room at the Emerston Unit on the ground floor. Also you have the male and female toilets and the male and female wudhu areas.

Referred to A&E for my 16 year old.daughter who was struggling to fight off a virus. A&E not so great, clearly under pressure and some issues there which I intend to take up with PALS however once we were eventually moved to Windsor Ward I could not fault the care we received. Everyone, from the nurses and doctors to the cleaners to the staff delivering meals, teas and coffee's - all super friendly and helpful to make you feel as at ease as possible. Ward was immaculate. And there seemed to be a real team spirit amongst the staff, they took pride in their ward and it showed.

I came to the hospital with my son for the ultrasound dept. John Scrivens had a brilliant bedside manner, really dealt with my sons sensitive situation with tact, he was absolutely brilliant. Great job and waiting time after being referred was 1 week. Really impressed
