Live music! Folk music! Great venue. 17/10 Where has the folk music gone? Where have the customers gone? Where is the atmosphere gone? Where have the good staff gone? All of a sudden there is nobody here with passion for the business and little beer to sell!
Really lovely pub , only thing is when we go there for a drink we have on some occasions asked for cocktails and shots and no one seems to know how to make any of them apart from 1 time when we was lucky enough someome got called down from somewhere to make them. It seems to me the same 2 people that haven't known how to make them for like a month or more now.
Good selection of cocktails but No one in the pub knows how to make them. Manager should train the staff before leaving them behind the bar on their own .
What a little gem. We weren't quite sure how to take this place from the outside when we arrived but it appeared recently refurbished and the Sunday Roast was truly wonderful. We had a great meal. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the meal. It was a very pleasing find. A point for improvement would be to get baby changing facilities. But it is a challenge in an old style of pub. We would revisit for sure. Thank you.

Friendly staff. Clean venue. Excellent value they have a premonition on. Only criticism is the food that was very good was served on a cold plate, causing the food to cool quickly. Nice place that I will frequent again soon hopefully.
What a great pub. Just another one of the fine venues for The Underdogs, on their never ending "where's the nearest lamppost" tour. Great atmosphere and very friendly locals, full of enthusiasm for live music. Good range of well kept drinks either on tap or from the bottle. Also wins hands down for having the best 'pub dog' ever, as the photos will prove.
